First of all none of these people have either Sonia or Arun dont have the right in real sense to speak about Mahatma Gandhi.
All of them first set an example by following Mahatmajis path.
The real fact is that the people who had left india for money and money and went to USA, dont have moral right to speak about Gandhiji. If they would have wanted they might have stayed in India and worked hard to build the nation by using Gndhijis principals. But they have left india.
Most of the times I am not comfortable with NRI's. Nowadays India is doing great so they are making hype to get the benefits from rising India.
None of them have worked hard to get india to this stage. They were living comfortable life in other contries and making a lots of money.
It is common man of India, who is working in farms, who is working in small factories, youth working days and nights in small software units, young people stdying days and night to become engineers. Indias success is Gandhijis success. Indias success every Indians success who has worked hard in their respective areas.
Same is the story of Gandhism. If world today is trying follow his ideology is not because Somebody is representative of India or somebody who runs the organisation by his name.
The faith in that idealogy is the success of emerging India.

Anybody else other than the RSS-inspired hate-groups have more rights to speak about gandhi and his ideology. let RSS speak about Godse's ideology.
The ad in NY was inspired by violent hatred, no mistake. The copy was cut-paste from RSS inspired media/ sites.

I agree with you there except for one point. NRI's did not leave india because they didn't want to work hard and contribute to the future of India. It's human nature you get a good chance to make lots of money, you take off. you don't give all this thought to it. As a matter of fact, many of them even though they are in foriegn countries and making money but still they lead life like a true Indian and rejoice at the success of India and try to contribute and do whatever they can to participate in India's success. But that's only about 25% but the remaining 75% I agree are just greedy freaks of the worst order. They don't even think of doing anything back for the country. So callous and unconcious are they. But the worst ones are those that having settled in foriegin countries look back and make comparisons and carp and spit in the lap of their own motherland ( without ever lifting a finger for the benefit of their home country , mind you) and provide the worst example to the future generations.

Its a long history. Basically Gandhi started courting Muslim fundamentalists, mullahs starting from Khilafat Movement, which created havoc in Eastern bengal (now Bangladesh).
Mullahs started rioting almost regularly.
Gandhi could NOT defend, protect 10s of Millions of Hindus./Buddhists of Eastern bengal.
From Punjab, Hindus/Sikhs could be saved to a great degree.
In Eastern bengal, they could not be saved.
The blame for this goes directly go to Gandhi himself.

Don't berate without knowing a thing. As a researcher working on Bengal Partition at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, I can say that unlike Punjab, the reufugee or human exodus across the Eastern border has been in phases(the Bangladesh War of 1971 was one of them0 and it still continues. The reason though manong many is religious fundamentalism in Bangladesh is also a more lucrative choice as India is an economic superpower.

Thanks for the info. We South Indians Hindus, always used to admire Gandhi, because we did not have undergo the pains of partition.
It is only because of my recent readings, I have been able to understand the darker side of Gandhi.
He definitely has brought untold sufferings to the Hindus.

It is not RSS but the stupid politicians that appease minority. Do you think people would listen to RSS if what they are doing is somewhat closer to their heart? The moment the minorities reject the politicians that appease them for votes, the likes of RSS/VHP would disappear.

Go and read Gandhi's voluminous writings- he never used the word DALIT! He always used Harijan (person who belongs to Hari- meaning Narayana, the God).
