Arun Gandhi, the so called head of Mahatma Gandhi center should counter the allegations made in the advertisement rather than deriding the people who put up the ad. Why BJP even a common man is against Sonia (a foreigner) rule in India. Remember NCP (Sharad Pawar and gang) split from congress on the same issue.
Arun's argument proves that the allegations are true and congressmen do not have any defence against these. For this reason they are resorting to personal attacks.
We have freedom to say or write what-ever we want but we must not shed our values and go so much down as we can see in the thoughts or following articles. Arun has shows and illustarted our values and true Gandhian thought.
Sonia Gandhi, frankly speaking is no where concerned to Gandhian thoughts or the sanity of that era. I also feel it is very strange to invite her. There are 100s of Gandhian followers ..... Why only Sonia???/

If that is your opinion, you should not be supporting the advertisement in NYT, which seems to be complaining Gandhian values are being devalued (because Sonia is espousing Gandhian values!)

Hatred is the principle on which these extremist elements work. hatred towards another community, region, caste they are always busy hating something. Fact is that the enquiry commissions declared RSS innocent in the sad incident. See the people of Mahatma's state, Gujarat elected the RSS outfit to Power. Also, parading Sonia at a function is like inviting film starts to inaugurate Science Congress.It is now clear that the UN doesnt give a value to Gandhian principles or Gandhi,by not inviting a true Gandhian for the speech. At least they could have asked any non vegetarian to give a speech!

You have not read Gandhi. Non-vegetarianism was a personal choice of Gandhi. He advocated, but never imposed that on other people. By the way majority of Hindus in this country are non-vegetarians. The greatest epic of ours was written by the son of a fisher-woman. Mind you, fish is caught for eating.
Non-vegetarianism is no sin in Hinduism. even your favorite BJP leaders are non-vegetarians. In fact those responsible for the hate-ad in NYT are non-vegetarians (and hypocrites).

Ony people like you will elect people like Narendra Modi. These people of Gujarat more incline to Sadar Patel than Gandhi. Still they have grudge against Gandhi since he has not endorsed Patel for the post of PM instead he favoured Nehru a statesmen most accepted by Indians as well as the world. Dear All, Godse participated in Civil disobedience Movement while he was in Congress. Later he quit Congress and worked with RSS for a few months. Then he quit RSS and joined Hindu mahasabha. during that time he killed Mahatma. If you can say that RSS killed Mahatma for the reason that Godse was with RSS earlier, for the same reason, you can also tell that Congress killed Mahatma. because Godse was with Congress for many years

Please convince Sonia to drop Gandhi(fake) sirname and assume her own.We will then accept her, atleast for honesty.Convince her to get out of Indian poltics and congress.She has nothing to do with these, so also her children should.We are fed up with Nehru word and are sick of it.What is difference in rule before independence and now? Only method has changed.Earlier Rajahs ran dynasty by sword and loot and now these guys run it by votes and loot.Only style has changed.Indians should never support second generation in any situation and wipe of this family drama system from all walks of indian life.Then only we can create a honest and capable society and get rid of corruption.While large numer of young guys and much better actors are being pushed around, Abhisek type guys are made film stars just because of same disease.We have to bear their substandard acting and even pay for it.No choice.

I appreciate Arun for your good message to the nation and the world. You proved to be the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi. People should stop doing things on hateness then only there could be peace in this country and world. I do not know why people are go on commenting against Sonia Gandhi who is far better than these people who are commenting. She has better approach in the public life compared to many comments against her.
Arun Gandhi is a nobody. He must be ignored. Mahatma was a great man no doubt - but his policy of ahmisa led to murder of thousands of Hindus in various riots - whether in malabar in 1920s or calcutta and other places during partition. His support for Khilafat movement was rank opportunism - the kind of tokenism to which Congress relapses every now and then. We have given blood sacrifice for his love of non-violence. Gandhi survived because the British were decent ( though racist ) people and let him live freely so that they could rule peacefully. Most other freedom fighters cooled their heels in Andaman. Incidentally - I happen to be a congress voter and a supporter. Anyone is free to talk about Gandhi in any forum ... this is a free country so far which guarantees right of speech.
