What did she ever do to represent Gandhiji? Did she ever fast even once? Did she recite the name of Lord Ram on her lips even once? Did she ever recite prayer representing ALL religions? Did she she ever go to Jail even for a day protesting against injustice? Did ever go to a sick person and clean his or her wounds? Even if she had recited Ramnam on her lips even once, she would qualify. I bet my two dimes that she never did. If she was a true Gandhian, she should have politely declined the offer and suggested a true Gandhian's name instead. Are you really surprised that someone protested? As far the protestors being called fanatic, I met at the protest Board Cerified Physicians one of whom sang Bhajans, IIT professionals, professors of philosophy and science, Gandhiji's younger brother's grandson,Engineers, Ex Mayor of a Town, 100 Gandhians and senior citizens some of them 80 years old, Radiology tecnicians all of which had never taken a stand against any issue and came because for the foirst time in their life, they felt strongly that they were protesting against something they believed wae grossly inappropriate. We should thank Sonia Maino Gandhi for awakening their spirits. Many diabetic senior citizens fasted during the protest against the medical advice. who will fast for Sonia once she has exited from this planet.
Arun Gandhi wants to justify why Sonia Gandhi,daughter in law of Indira married to his grand father's adopted son named by him affectionately giving his own last name to cover up the truth should truly represent his grand father's philosophy of non-violence. The greatness of Mahatma nor the greatness of his life and vision is in question. Trashing Gandhiji was not at all on the agenda of the said protesters in front of U.N. Please keep the debate on the point and justify how Arun is corrupt in his thinking in endorsing the choice of Sonia as the most apt person to represent and present his grandfather's message. When Gandhiji himself declared that he was not even a char anna member of the Indian National Congress and was only in an advisory capacity to Nehru and others, why does Congress claim Gandhi as its property and attaining the majority as UPA aligned with the Communist Party chooses to represent India in the U.N. UN as an organization of Nations needs to have a representative of the Nation and not a Party leader to represent the Nation. The demostrations were not against Mahatma Gandhi ji. No one said anything demeaning of Gandhiji in the "Protest." Admiring all that was good in Gandhi ji does not make him a perfect human being. He had his own flaws as admitted by himself. Trashing him now takes the focus away from the main issue and that is how does a "naturalized" citizen, nonoffice holder inGovernment, on the basis of her elected position and party leadership become a representative for a country in the United Nation function? Why not the President of India or the Prime Minister of India? These are the legitimate questions without even going into any hate issues. The corrupt thinking and practices of the Indians who support such decisions and party politics of India spilling into the international domain is the travesty the Indian citizens have to face daily may be since Gandhi ji and Nehru ji also had the same character defect when it came to subordination of National interest. The same chaddiwalahs were against gandhi when he was alive, and they themselves killed gandhi, and now they are trying to use gandhi's name. Sonia gandhi might not be the right representative of gandhiyan values but she is the president of congress party and has rights to represent the gandhi in UN.

Dear Prashant Yes in Nehru's cabinet apart from Mr. Nehru, other Cabinet Ministers have given statements that RSS was not behind the Assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. Assassin himself declared in the Special Court that He and He only is responsible for the "ACT". BUT it was Nehru and Nehru alone was responsible for the Banning of RSS. You can read the recently published book on the correspondence between Nehru, Vallabh bhaiPatel and other Contemporary Ministers also gave statements. Nehru being the last British Brown PM of India had made use of this ACT for spreading poison against RSS. Can any one give one example of Atrocities committed by RSS in the form of Violence, Terrorism against, any group, Any Bombs, Hijacking or similar acts of Cruelty against Indians in India or abroad.
One has to open ones conscience to learn the facts and the propaganda by the Controlled Anti Hindu Media since India's Independence.

Fundamentalists are dangerous to the society, polity and international community. They do not tell the truth but lies and false information. Gadse represents ideology of intolerance,ignorance and violence. Hilter, Usama, Gadse, Narendra Modi and Adwani have common features of intolerance. They have strong commitment in their faith and they do anything to keep their faith alive. Killings, deceptions and lies are acceptable for achieving their "great goal". They raise unreasonable, unsubstantiated and unscientific causes and create horror for their objectives. They donot shy for telling same lies again and again. Can you tell me? Who killed Gandhi and which party adopted "Gandhian Socialism" and same people campaigned for lifting the ban on Gadse books. "Ghar me Gadse picture Ghar pe Gandhi janda". You should have ghuts to accept in public, what you did and what are you doing? We have enough memory to remeber your acts but you should have courage for not changing the color occasionally.
Mr.Arun Gandhi has immense gratitude towards the Catholics. He is true to his salt .It is heartening that he has not forgotten his earlier days and has done a very good job in supporting a Catholic lady.
I for one strongly feel that Mrs.Sonia Gandhi is the true representative of Mr.M.K.Gandhi. Besides sharing a common last name, they have so many things in common.
Both are "not" interested in "power". Both "believe" in "democratic principles". Both are "adored' by their followers. Both are favourites of the foreign media and hence darling of the Indian mass. Both preach what they dont follow.
Hence the advertisement in New York questioning the claim of Sonia Gandhi to be a representative of Mahatma Gandhi is in poor taste.
I would go to the extent of telling that Sonia Gandhi is the most perfect representative of M.K.Gandhi.

Just below my post are replies to a post by Raja Thakur by two gentlemen called Kumaraswamy Pillay and Vishwamithran TKB. While K Pillay is absolutely sure that gents of the Hindu Mahasabha worked for the unity of "Akhand Bharat", though nicely he calls it one country, his dear ideological colleague is doubly sure that the very same "Hindu Mahasabha freedom fighters" were not bootlickers of Ismamic (sic) Imperialism. Obviously for him, one country also meant one religion.
