This is a nice turn of events. It is possible to arrive at a concensus wrt the Indo-Us Nuclear deal by discussion among the leaders with mutual trust. Ultimately, our country should flourish by all means.
1.0 He knows Bihar is doing well under Nitish and he doesnt have a base 2.0 If election happens lalu and party will go back in tabela!!! His MPs will not repeat the performance --so go home --so he will not let the govt fall...

I just want to comment that Bihar is not at all doing well under Nitish. Crime is continue with only difference that media is not giving attention as he did during Lalu. Killing by Mobs is one example of failure of administration system where people have no mood to believe them. Who are the MLA / MP%u2019s are their in Nitish / BJP in Bihar. Check and you will find more than 25% of them are same who switched their loyalty to Nitish

You said it! Left wants the people to remain poor and keep voting them. Once their lot inproves voters turn away from left. So why on earth they would ever think for the progress of the country? WE WILL ENJOY POWER WHILE THE PEOPLE REMAINS POOR!

hallo nisha, you are right.poor people of India are their voters. people like you will never understand the power of revolution.I do not like my country being a slave to US.you can not call some body anti national as he/she doesnot agree with you. be democraatic and rational
This UPA govt is doing very good on all fronts. This should not fall. If it falls vultures will again be active and all sorts of coalitions will be formed. It is suggested that in the interest of India, Congress and BJP should come together, may be only for the issue of Nuclear deal and save the government. Let the Left continue supporting UPA on other matters, or abstain from confidence vote. Mr. Manmohan Singh's rule must continue.
In the LUST for Power, the LEFT is looking for a face saving formula. Similarly Lalu has already lost the state and can not afford to lose centre as well. That will make him to go extra mile to save the govt., even if India loses the face on international front.

you have every right to blame left for so many reasons, but they are not power hungry.they could have got so many important portfolios, if they would have joined the government. this is the first time government will fall because of principle not for any thing else, if at all fall

Let left parties withdraw suppor to Govt. and let govt. fall. In that case congress will come back to power with thumping majority. Because BJP voters who are disappointed due to BJP's policy towards Nuclear Agreement will vote for Congress this time. Or else now let BJP support Congress if Left withdraw support.
What can you expect from the left, who are filled with octogenarians. And are living in the past. The best that they can do for the country is not get involved in any major national policy issues.
