There is no such thing as Aryan or Dravidian. You are not a Shudra, you are a moron. Learn the caste system of Hindus before writing blatant lies. SHRIVASTAVA/SINHA/SAXENA etc fall under Vaishyas as per texts. Indian - please read YOUR text before troubling to pen a comment here. Vaishyas are Banias - Guptas, Agarwals, Mittals etc who are business class - pure vegetarians belonging to the savarna castes. Kayathas and Vaishyas are as different as chalk and cheese. Kayasthas were shudras who sucked up to the Mughal / British rulers as upper castes refused to cooperate and learn new skills , became administrators with them and became the educated class of India. However - in the caste hierarchy they are outside the savarna category. The success of Kayasthas is a living proof that reservations work in uplifting a caste to a dominant position.

They had a certain standing in the society because they were either administrators or money lenders /capitalists. By the way, m0r0n, reservation DID NOT help Kayasthas getting lifted because OBC reservation was only started in 90s by the biggest liar and selfish leader of Indian politics, V.P.Singh, and Kayasthas have been teachers/officers/IAS/accountants for decades BEFORE that. I hve been watching/reading these columns regularly. Instead of commenting generally on the burning issues and voicing their opinions, a lot of people use this forum to abuse or exchange unpleasant words with each other. Please be sensible and stick to topic.
Secondly what difference it makes to those politicians who have thick skin and are least worried about the common man or his problems. One thing I have noticed in Karnataka is there is always some kind of polls and no work gets done in that pretext.
Better if president's rule is imposed not only in Karataka but adjoining states also so that these tamashas now and then can be avoided.

Prabha, Kumaraswamy's mother tongue is Kannada whereas Rahul Dravid's is not, but if u speak about who is a true kannadiga, here is no comparision between the two as both have achieved great heights in their respective fields. @suresh, what is the definition of kannadigs? If you go by the logic of mother tongue, no muslim is kannadiga as their mother tongue is urdu. My definition is kannadigas are one who is born/brought up in karnataka
