Unless the wolves want to share that power game once again.

The occupant of the Rashtrapati Bhavan must not let the wolves play the power game.

Fractured mandate
by Saint on Oct 09, 2007 02:54 PM  Permalink

True spirit of Democracy lies in supporting a party with an absoute majority to form Govt. Fractured mandate promotes not only horse trading, bribery, corruption, leg pulling, mud slinging, exploitation, hard bargaining for soft interest, etc. but also welcomes mid term poll which is another burden on the exchequre of the Country.

Implement two party system. Ban thousands of mushrooming parties with no clear cut ideology and principles.

See what happened in Karnataka? Also going to be happend in Centre?

It is absolutely necessary for the voters to elect a suitable party with huge margin after then we can expect from them.

Earlier BJP failed to implement its menifesto because of fractured mandate and now the same thing to Congress.

Why to blame parties for castism its there in our blood
by the unique on Oct 09, 2007 02:03 PM  Permalink

Its easy for all of us to blame parties for divide based on caste and religion. As a kannadiga i know whats the situation is.Its worst castism can find when we see all around.Election results are based on candidates caste. There are many mutts headed by swamijis founded by so called developers but they are money collection points for parties. Its fun thing to note these swamijis starts agitation when there caste people dont get ministries or powers.

Karnataka was ruled by mutts and will be mutts.Swamijis are real CMs.

castism is there in blood of the people. It will never go so easily unless we face grave situations.

Sahadevan, I think that you have jumped from Oolampara or Kutiravattam. I feel so because I have gone through your so called blogs. If any CPM or CPI scoundrel killed after drinking hooch mindlessly, you will atribute the crime to George Bush. Crap!
