Making fool of himself
by shiva vaidyanathan on Oct 09, 2007 08:54 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I was reading some news reports saying our so called ex-CM kumaraswamy did a U-turn and wants BJP to continue. If that is the case, think he realised his foolishness by listening to his dad till now, who made him look stupid not only in front of karnataka but in front of the whole country and I think it is too late though...

ABSOLUTELY.....

People cheered him 20 months back because he rebeled aganist his father & formed govt with Congress.

Today, he sings the same old song, BJP wanted to split the party, etc... Is JD(S) MLAs so prone to power, horse trading, splits & wooings by other parties?

People (Kannadigas in particular) are not foolish to hear all this mon-sense talks. They will teach the lesson when time comes, be it father or son (or mannu tinda/tinta iro maga)

Alliances and Agreements to be signed before Governor
by siva kumar on Oct 09, 2007 08:23 AM  Permalink

This type of mockery of democracy, betrayal etc,. or repeated by these politicians over a period of time, Because they dont care about the wasteful expenditure incurred in conducting elections which otherwise could be used for some developmental project.
This problem mainsly arises when people give fractured verdict in some states repeatedly as in the case Goa and we see a drama and change of Govt every after three months.
A solution to end this menace of shameless and unpatriotic act of criminal politicians is that any agreement of support and alliance should be signed in the presence of Governor, and supporting party and MLAs/MPs should give an undertaking that the they will support the govt for a full term.Violators of such agreement should be permanently disqualified from contesting any more elections.
As of now no party will like to bring in such legislation because Cong itself did this act in the case Charan Singh and Chandrasekar at the centre.

BJP will never get majority in karnataka
by liesbuster on Oct 09, 2007 07:44 AM  Permalink

Reason: See the karanataka demograpics. BJP turned the state into caste politics.BJP used to be official Brahmins party but now Lingayats joined completely by making yediurappa chief minister issue as their catse issus. Others will respond Kindly. I will not be surprised if BJP gets less MLA seats next time.

SCs - 16.2% - This time not a single one vote for BJP
Lingayatha (Veerashaiva) - 15.34% - Lot of them vote this time for BJP
Vokkaliga - 10.80% - This time they will not vote BJP
STs - 6.6% - This time no vote for BJP
Kuruba - 6.28%, - 95% will vote congress
Brahmin              - 3.46% - It is their party - who f..k care
Maratha                   - 2.90% - No to BJP
Bestha                   - 2.54% - No to BJP
Beda - 2.49% - No to BJP
Idiga - 2.30% - No to BJP

Muslims - 12.23 % - Never to BJP
Christians - 1.59% - Never to BJP

President's rule is good for Karnataka
by Pravin Kumar on Oct 09, 2007 07:44 AM  Permalink

There is nothing fradulant about Prez Rule being declared. JD(S)just does not have enough support on its own. Mr. Devegowda and Sons have cost the govt. crores for causing a re-election. It is mind boggling that Mr. Gowda breaks an agreement shamelessly. How can anyone respect this person who cannot keep the most public of agreements.
