What is so great about a communist ? Communist cannot be a great thinker. They are energy suckers...
Vijayan master, as a critic and thinker became a headache for the party in the last years. But the party should understand that persons like MN Vijayan criticizing because they love the party. Leaders should understand that how the party lives in the lakhs of hearts. The leadership should be more decent and aware of their position.
Communism will survive only for another 10 to 15 years. After that they will go to hell as Kerala people becomes more educated. Communist supporters (all are Illiterateare)loosing their base at Kerala
sadly, MN Vijayan destroyed his genius by associating himself with party propagandists of the CPM who used his name to the hilt and dumped him.
Vijayan's crusade in his last days to redeem the party from parasites thriving on foreign funding failed to cut ice. Fund by any means is the motto of that party now.
If Vijayan had taken literary scene seriously, Malyalam would have got some of the best books authored by him. His life is a saga of betrayal and victimisation by a domineering communist apparatus and also about the danger of falling victim to propaganda czarists, while ignoring the omnipresence of art and literature and its ultimate trimuph over petty political ambitions. One fails to understand why so much importance has to be given to a leftist thinker who has skewed logic and thinking. What good did he do for the country? Justify violence in politics? He was one from a bygone era who suspected imperialist influence in every walk of life. Rediff need not give so much importance to persons like him.
