Left rejects govt plea on IAEA talks, because Left is not ready to eat biryani and forget Indian people; not ready to take ministership and implement anti-people policy; not ready to take money and and say "yes sir, yes sir."

@Rajan P
No India won't be able to. Only China, Cuba and Venesuela can handle the responsibility. May be Pinarayil Vijayan and Kotiyeri Balakrishnan can Handle.

How can terminators be worthy of commenting? China,Cuba,Venezuela or even Russia are not good enough to handle nuclear.We don't want another Chernobyl in India where terrorists target evewn our Parliament.And what about the disposal of nuclear wastes? Let madamji terminate all the irresponsible officials,terrorists,Kodiyeris pennarayis and the kinds from Indian public life and set and example how to do things responsibly in India.

Communists are better than Ganddiists.They don't sell the country.
Tomorrow you'll hear from the Commie traitors that they're not against such an N-deal per se, but just against any deal with Uncle Sam - they'd roll out the Red Carpet lickety-split if the exact same deal were with thier Beijing overlords. Seems the aam aadmi are finally coming to see what these Commies are - traitors.

I hope you are kidding. how about majority of mathces that India lost during congress time?
I think the congress leaders have sense a victory in the next election minus their allies like RJD, DMK who are not ready. Even the left is not ready for election and now it is in catch 22 situation. If they withdraw they loose, if they support they loose. Nice political move by Congress. Hopefully the oppostion will wlecome the move and gear for election. If the congress and BJP could show a sense of politcal maturity it will lead to the death of smaller parties like lalu, Karuna, Ram Vilas and offcourse the sitaram (I wonder who put named him as Sita -ram he doesnt belives his name) and karat couple. Let's hope next election will bring a clear verdict for one party or pre-poll alliance so that they can take some bold decisions which the country need badly.

I agree with u. We need single party, whether its BJP or Congress, though personally I favor BJP. Anyone, even Lalu, is better than Communists.
NDTV Correspondent Monday, October 8, 2007 (New Delhi) After senior Left leaders reacted to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's remarks on the Indo-US nuke deal during a rally in Haryana, the Congress party has clarified that the remarks were only in the context of the political situation in Haryana.
It was a late night clarification from the Congress party after Left leaders said if there were elections, then the Congress will be responsible for it.
Earlier on Sunday, Sonia Gandhi had said that those who oppose the nuclear deal are enemies of progress.
The remark was seen to be a direct attack on the Left and perhaps a sign that elections are near.
The Left parties took strong exception to Gandhi's indirect but strong attack.
The CPI(M) Politbureau meet is expected soon after the UPA-Left committee meet on October 9, according to CPI(M) sources.
