They will ditch very soon
by Sanjeev Kumar on Oct 08, 2007 07:03 PM  Permalink

HDK and HDD may support BJP now to ditch it once again very soon. It will help them to wash off their bad image that they have earned now. But, it would be suicidal for the BJP. Now they are the favourite if polls are held but later they would meet the same fate as they are now in UP.

worst political games
by sri sri on Oct 08, 2007 06:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The move of Kumaraswamy is a ploy to win public sympathy. Presently, he knows that if he goes to polls, the betrayal will be a big election issue against JD-S. Now, after handing over power to BJP,and a few moths later, for a petty issue like a major law n order problem(which can anytime be initiated by JDS itself),if they withdraw support, it will not only help erase this betrayal plot from the public memory, but also win favours from the electorate! On the BJP side, this is the only opportunity for them to hold the CM's seat; Even if they go to polls now, they wont get absolute majority! So, they are ready even for a short lived CM position - they can make their money in double quick time!! So, its a win-win for BJP-JD(S). Poor Indian Junta! we are the miserable losers everytime, after voting for such petty, calculative, ever manipulating politicians. No hopes, India

Well Yeduirappa has nothing to fear. In case of elections, the mood of the public is towards him. With Congress not ready to support the JDS traitors rightly so Kumaraswamy ahs no chocie but to resign and accept indirect Congress rule through President's rule and face the prospect of a washout at the polls in the future or honour his agreement with BJP and take whatever power he can still get. Congress has smartly ducked out of supporting JDS as people are angry and Cong would have also suffered anti-incumbuncy and revenge polling directed at JDS. It tokk a complete fitting reply from both Cong and BJp to bring the greedy Gowda family to tehri senses. With neither ready to bail him out he cannot prove majority and has no option but to resign and psuh for elections otherwise.

BJP,th eparty with a difference with the tag of upholding the "SELF RESPECT"of kannadigas should reffrain from falling into this trap once again. The JD(S)has been changing colors like true chameleons. The advantage that has been gained over the last 2 to 3 days shold not be lost. This trap appears likea mirage. It is for the intellectuals and the wise to step in from the high command and the SANGH background to0 advise. This euphoria may be too short lived. This decision of JD(S) must have come after some introspection as the public sympathy factor works in India to a great extent.

I fully agree with the above views. BJP should not form a Government with the support of Gowda and his son. They may backstab any moment. Also, there will be hard-bargaining on even small issues to the embarrassement of BJP.
