For Pakistan General Musharaf is a great leader. He is bold and honest.Apart from Kargil which was his military game plan to show his skill as a tactful and strategic military commander , for his country Pakistan he had proved a point and made his mark.Pakistan under his rule has progressed and he has learnt to deal with terroism which he once nurtured. All said and done he should lead Pakistan for another 10 years for he has now learnt the meaning of Peace and Progress.

Really Bad for the republic of Pakistan as well as its neighbors! Before the people of Pakistan put forth their choice in the ensuing general elections, persons with vested interests are trying to impose themselves on them. And with their maneuvering tactics and external support, they seem to be succeeding in their design. People of Pakistan will have to wait for some more time and work harder to get a really democratic government.

all that musharraf has done in his entire political career is manipulation and fortunately for him, he has always been there at the right place, right time. The moment Democrats capture the White House, look for some dramatic change in Pakistan. Benazir if she comes to power, should make the necessary constitutional changes for chnage of power center back to the PM's office. Always the elected office will only have the people's mandate in a democracy. In theocracy and dictatorship rule, anything is possible.

Agreed, both countries should look forward to progress and should not align with bigger powers who create problem to others and make wealth for themselves by selling arms. When will we wake up to understand this reality!!!!!!!
