Throw northie parties out of Karnataka
by Gopal Krishna on Oct 06, 2007 07:25 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The time has come to emphasise the importance "Kannadatva" over "Secularism" and "Hindutva" because neither of the latter promise security for Kannada and Kannadigas. It is time to throw northie parties out of Karnataka and build strong regional parties that can work for the cause of Kannada and Kannadigas and represent Karnataka at the centre.

Jai Karnataka! Siri gannadam gelge!

Dharam is puppet of Italian born Sonia and Yeddi is puppet of Pakistan born Advani. Both are slaves to northie parties, what difference does it make that they are kannadigas! We want strong and independent kannadigas to rule Karnataka, not those enslaved to these stupid alien ideologies!

Disallow Post election alliance
by siva kumar on Oct 06, 2007 07:21 PM  Permalink

In the name of alliance so many unconstitutional things are going on in our country.

As this suits every party at sometime or other nobody is really interested to stop this.

BJP was voted by the people and emerged as the single largest party, But by the oppurtunistic alliance of JD(S) and Cong it was not allowed to come to power. Then they called BJP as a communal party,,,, but BJP is a party recognised by the election commission and the constitution to exist and contest elections. Not only that, it is a democratic set up and the very people of Karnataka have voted for BJP to be the single largest party. But BJP was not allowed to form a Govt and two parties with less number of MLAs than BJP formed the Govt and made the single largest party to sit outside as opposition. Is it not unconstitutional and illogical?

Is it not fooling the voters and against democratic principles?

There is no proof for any party to be truely secular. Because all of them have aligned with BJP when it suited them and called it a communal party when not required. For this there in enogh proof. Even VP Singh, Mulayam , Mayavati or Karunanidhi, all had an alliance whenever they required BJP.Now it is Deve Gowda and his son.

Now the question is kumarasamy has enjoyed chief ministership with the support BJP by giving some promise and casting aspersions on BJP now is immoral, against human qualities.

So why to allow these people to divert the voters'verdict. So dont allow More post election alliance!

How does it matter what BJP wants? BJP is a communal party. We should find out what the Congress and the JD-S want.

Karnataka: BJP wants President's rule soon
by balajee ks on Oct 06, 2007 07:18 PM  Permalink

Yes, it is the right thing BJP demands, but the centre will not accede to its demand. JDS has already started behind the doors bargaining with Congress. Both parties will always try to keep BJP out of power not only in Karnataka but entire India. We very well know the President's role in the Indian context of Parliamentary democracy and the Constitution. The Parliamentary form of democracy is a farce thrust on Indian population. Indian politics is a flourishing trade/business/commerce at the cost and expense of Indian public. But no remedy possible because, it is again in the hands of the same Parliament. Nothing can be done about it.
