like father like son
by Bhushan on Oct 06, 2007 04:38 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Kumaraswamy had earned a good name by 'distancing' himself from his father when he became the cm. People of karnataka had thought that a rebel was born. He was active implementing good schemes and so on.. He has tasted power. Now when time has come to transfer power he has shown his true colors. His mind works as that of his father. A shameless mindless politician. There are no words to describe the 'great' Deve gowda. People of Karnataka are waiting for him to exit politics. He can fool some people at some time but he cannot fool all the people all the time. He will realise it one day after all Jaise karni vyasi barni.

He is a good CM but he is a Governor of another state. I do not think he is coming back as a CM. He may expect higher posts.

Few BJP MLAs are indeed money and power hungry. Possibilities, they might switch over depending on the offer.

see your back before commenting on others. When you accept cheap money, liquor and other household articles to vote for them, be prepared to accept their acts.

Politics = stab in the back
by Anthony Periera on Oct 06, 2007 04:28 PM  Permalink

Politicians always do what is advantageos TODAY ... what commitments they made in the past ... are conveniently forgotten.

After having an arrangment of power sharing with BJP ... the Deve Gowda son is crying "Papa allow me to continue ruling, I like it" ... and papa Gowda comes to his aid ... This is a practice of the corrupt and power hungry man ...

PLEAD ... is a NGO from Mumbai combating the corrupt.

BJP should learn lesson
by execute on Oct 06, 2007 04:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BJP learnt one more lesson in politics 1st in north india now in south india, this proves that politics is same in whole country. In one of the interview Mr.Kumarswamy said that they don't want to transfer the power because one of the BJP minister imposed charges on him, i asked Mr.Kumarswami if he was so much disturbed because of that allegation why he would not continue with BJP govt. if he shown courage that time and resigned the CM post he would have got more support from people, but today everybody is blaming mr.kumarswami for this. and may be calling him and his party as betrayel.

Devakowda should be thrown out of politics.ashames cheating and instead can die.BJP should have taken the 1st term as they were having a more MLA seats. Father & son both are in the same ditch. so we can't expect gentle politics from them. BP will come again and ppl in KN should support for this.

I have been a supporter of BJP, not because they are a very good party but because they are better than others. But I dont know how BJP gets itself in these situations, earlier in UP they supported Mayawati in a similar power sharing formula for 6 months each and now in Karnataka. But the important point to be noted is that they had more MLA's in both case infact in UP they had double that of Mayawati's MLA but still they give CM post to these guys first. It looks like they are no less power hungry and want to be in Government and exploit rather sit in opposition. People say that we should be ashamed of choosing such person but tell me who should we vote for when each and every individual is the same. If we dont vote then also it is wrong. What difference does it make even if I vote for a good individual, when there are fanatics who vote for caste religion etc...how do I make a difference ?

Was there a written agreement?

When BJP talks about agreement, was there a written one? If os was it legally bound? Nah. What is legal about transfering power.

You are a perfect lawyer to take Kumaraswamy case on attempt to murder. Kumaraswamy himself, being head of state, umpteen number of times promised that he handover power to BJP. What more legality you want? Moreover, just 2-3 days back he said that he will go back on his own words and won't transfer the power. Also BJP is not going to court for the same. It just took out the support to the government to which it has all the right

Is BJP Betrayed ?
by Murali Menon on Oct 06, 2007 04:24 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If yes, then it is stupidity for BJP or any other political party to believe a man like HDK whose credibility is very well defined when he opted out for power sharing with BJP by pulling the carpet under so called seculars CONGRESS. If at all BJP really expected HDK to hand them over the power mantle, then BJP is still living in fool's paradise, because everyone know that HDK is the son of HDD who once pledged to quit politics if his son joins hands with BJP.

Interestingly our self proclaimed MESSIAH of SECULARISM, CONGRESS is now reported to be considering to support HDK to stay in power ! What a dirty and opportunistic politics being played, and we feel proud of having been produced such opportunistic politicians to rule ourselves !!

If INDIA is still considered to be a developing country, then all credits should be given to CONGRESS for not making INDIA a developed country !

Why has rediff put betrayed in semi colon. BJP truly is betrayed. If it was agreed that 20 months will be ruled by JD(S) and the power will be transferred to BJP in the next 20 months and if JD(S) does not transfer the power what do you call it?? BETRAYAL
