Betrayal
by VH on Oct 06, 2007 01:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think in politics there is nothing like betrayal, sincerity etc. or so called ethic. Only thing that matters is that you know other guys need and how to hold the key for it. The moment the need is over freindship is over.

Now Gowda wants power & hoping that congress support him so he can nullify sympathy wave of betrayal,if there is any, towards BJP. But why will Congress support him? Gowdas assumption is that Congress didnt do good in recent local body election, no party MLAs want election now, no important issue against the current government etc. Agreed. But by supporting Gowda, who pulled congres govt 20 months back and Gowda is famous for cheating, what are they really going to get? Infact even the anti-incumbancy factor will be nullified because they are supporting government now. Infact by supporting Gowda they only make him improve his chance of getting more vote in the next election by giving him opportunity declare some popular measures. Strong Gowda always works against Congress and BJP. Both want to see Gowdas political obituary.

But funny thing is no one, including media, talk about Governor rule. I think Congress is haunching on it. Because Central govt is run by congress with a puppet president its easy to impose Governor rule. With puppet governor, Congress will have better chance in election by placing favoring officers at right place. With that Congress can nullify BJPs sympathy wave, highlight Gowdas misrule, & keep anti-incumbency factor intact.

Two party system is the need of the hour
by Waste on Oct 06, 2007 12:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Our country desparately need dual party system where these local satraps are marginilised. Let Congress and BJP taka oath for the sake of the country they would go alone in all the elections to come, then automatically these marginal players would get routed over the next few election cycles and we would have a stable democratic system.

Let the JDS continue to do good wook with Congress support for people's welfare.People deserve to be taken care off. They have suffered enough - say during the heavy rains, garbage clearence , price spiral, fast track completion of existing projects ,roads, flyovers, airport not just in BLR but other places too like Hassan,Mysore,Belgaum, etc., Concentrate on these activities.people are with you.

BJP It doesnt work to trust who has a very bad past record
by Haatim on Oct 06, 2007 12:56 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BJP you deserve it and you very well knew this was going to happen after all who gives away power easily.Look at Bihar when Laloo was arrested he appointed his wife as CM as he did not trust his party men. Where is the question of one trusting another person in another party.

HAHAHAHA BJP you deserve it
