The need of the hour is to keep BJP away at any cost. The real fears for India are division of India based on religion, which the BJP, RSS, VHP, Bajrangi's are aspiring to do. You can see that wherever BJP has ruled they have killed the minorities, incited the people to kill each other in the name of GOD. Whereas the people who died were all from the lower castes, the Brahmins who decide the policies for these organisations are always free pouring the poison in the society.
The thought of BJP in power is really scary. What will they do ? In the name of RAM and Hindutva, they will start civil war in India. All works for peace & prosperity will be stalled and the only work they will start is pouring poison in the Indian society and inciting people to kill each other. This helps them as Brahmins remain at top and the lower castes keep on fighting in the name of RAM.

Mr Roy - much of Hindu intellegensia has as much dislike for the BJP and other parties. You may not like to hear - but the better educated , english speaking and articulate folks have very low opinion of BJP and Sangh parivar. It is seen as a party of low-brow shop keepers and disenchanted and disempowered middle and lower middle class upper caste folks.

shreeji - what do you mean by secular? Gowda and his sons are unreliable and are opportunists. they stabbed BJP on the back ( i am not a bjp man) but words are words and one has to keep up the promises given to other party to grab the chair. the people of karnataka are wise and father - son duo should be taught lesson or two in the coming elections. This JDS as such should be eliminated from the state. Dev Gowda , a sleeping giant.

The agreement which was made previously was not honoured by JD(s)which it should really have done. No one will trust JD(S)now and going for fresh elections again in this kind of atmosphere is detrimental to JD(S)as they have lost their credibility as a political party. Im sure, Congress will win the next elections by a huge margin, if they are held.
