amtpur, nothing special about it. Gowda has done this many times in the past. and he don't care media. He wants to be a commander. He don't like meadia ppl asking questions. media should listen whatever he says and publish as per his wish. Devegowda is a Great leader!
Here is a link to the blog that I wrote on 17/Jun/2006 (So it's not about power transfer). That should give you a backgrounder on the Satan that Dev(il)e Gowda is :

Good stuff on your blog. But tell me what made BJP, the party with a difference to ally with DG and KS? were they not aware of their antecedents? and how come BJP kept quiet when KS was doing all kinds of corrupt activities as alleged by everyone? If BJP was truly a good party they would not have allied with KS much less tolerated his corruption. They were power hungry and wanted power under any conditions much like allying with Mayawati and Shiv sena and discredited politicians like George Fernandes. BJP is responsible for bringing the worst party of DG and KS to power and they must be held accountable for this blunder in the next elections otherwise they will keep on doing this in their hunger for power. Yeduyurappa is no different than any other politician because he full well knew what KS and DG would do to Karnataka, still because he wanted to become the first saffron CM of south he resorted to such unethical and impractical arrangements with such unscrupulous people and so they (BJP) are more culpable. Because DG and KS are like that only! but what about you (Yedi)? Birds of a feather flock together. Poor Dharam Singh was humiliated and now he must be having the last laugh at Yedi's predicament of to be or not to be the CM!
We are blaming all politicians, leaders even public. Let me ask you, are you free from all evil mindset? If everyone of you free from this mindset, things will change for YOU. Its a waste of time looking for faults in others. Sri Sri is saying the same thing

Swami Arvind, Have u seen the messages writen here. Most of them are with full of hatred and in some cases they poured venom. Most of them writing messages here cannot do anything other than pour the hatrd from their heart. They cannot come to the street. They cannot fight with the persons they feel social evil. Watch the language they use when they see the different of opinion. It is really very sad to watch. But, this forum acts as a drainage. I really thank rediff for allowing people to drain their hatred.

You are right. Its alright, it is just a release of tension. Don't worry about foul language.
Film heroine-turned-Telugu Mahila president Roja, who has launched a war against belt shops (unauthorized liquor shops) in the State, was understood to have caught consuming liquor at her guest house.
According to grapevine, Roja, who has been extensively touring the Telangana districts as part of Palle Palleku programme and campaigning against belt shops, had a night halt at a guest house in Karimnagar. Knowing that she is a regular boozer, party people arranged her bottle of liquor from a nearby belt shop. She was enjoying the drink, when some local women entered the guest house to discuss about her action plan against the belt shops. And they were astonished to find her in an inebriated condition. So, they had to make a silent retreat.
These women activists later condemned Roja's double standards and wondered how this woman can run a movement against liquor.

jairaj, pls don't think at toilet 'level'. They need power to safe-guard the source of their bread-earning. Look towards Mysore Road, ITPL complex, and a recently launched satalite kannada channel. They want to make sure that their family members get a day's full-meals. Poor ppl, poor family. why don't BJP understand this?
