RE:Let the Congress and JD(S) dig their graves in unision .....
by imran patel on Oct 04, 2007 08:15 PM  Permalink
Mr. Reddy,
It is easy for all/any political party to call for mid-term elections. But do they or more importantly, do we realize the cost to society of such elections ?

India is still a "POOR" Nation. This kind of fiscal irresponsibility is insane. These elections will be funded by TAX money. Money that you and I earned.
Is this what we earned that money for ?
Is this best utilization of our hard earned money ? The time we spend away from our family ?

These politicals parties are taking India full speed into a ditch. How is this fight making life any easy for the common man ? Politicians needs to realize that they are "PUBLIC SERVANTS" and more importantly, WE THE PEOPLE need to realize that they are PUBLIC SERVANTS. How are they serving US ?

This is a fight for POWER. Plain and simple. The problem is that we do not speak out. The public must keep these politicians in check. They are overplaying their hand. They have a group of loyal and active supporters who seem to have more influence than the majority of us.

Unless we wake up and demand accountability, these politicians will play their old dirty tricks.

Well said. I couldn't agree more.

The politicians have no qualms about such expenses forced on the public.

The power hungry politicians need to be sent home.

Ensure they lose their deposits and we will get a single party rule.

People need to make a decisive choice this time - they need to decide whether they want to be known as a state ruled by dishonest politicians or not.

This is very much shame that he is telling the word We are willing. What is the mean of willing. People will vote and he should think that where will the money come. From his father's pocket. T

In such ugly scenario BJP should stay away from CM post as there is no point in relying on JDs and they will definitely take out support (if they support). Also it is more important that BJP should keep all its MLAs intact so that these buggers should not go for Horse Trading.

All i am saying, is that Give BJP a chance!!
by dehradoon on Oct 04, 2007 08:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Let%u2019s now act like kids here and start abusing each other. We (including me) don't learn from our past. Moguls made us fight each other, so did the East India Company, and now politicians do the same...
Have we ever thought what the best options for us here are? I don't think any party is good to do the job. The party IIT%u2019s had formed in the last election could not even retain their money. And who was voting then??
Congress!! we have seen enough and hate it more cause of Sonia, who is a polarizing figure in India, as she divides the nation. All congressmen%u2019s are power hungry and come with a single agenda of looting the nation%u2019s wealth for their own self.
There is no other national party. BJP did a decent job when they were in power last time. But then Congress fooled the illiterate and aliens (read Bangladeshis) and wooed them for vote bank.
We got to give BJP a chance... wish they get clear majority once for one term, and want to see how they would make or break the nation.
We need to decide!!!!

Sonia is popular because of you people who has one point agenda keep criticise her for no reason and she is gaining popularity. There are 3 possibility to keep her out of power
1) Stop making her responsible for everything happens in India.
2) Suggest BJP to reach people with solid agenda for uplifting life quality of common public without chanting RAMA RAMA. Today people are worry about their bread, cloth & shelter. Nobody is interested in RAMA issue.
3) For BJP supporters , Instead of wasting time on this message board go to public and educate them but do not try to brainwash them.

You got a point here Robin. That was not good example to set.
They need to refrain from doing it again. Agreed it was situation of a kind and there were provocation before it all started, but we need to start caring about each other, rather taking revenge... which was done in that case.
Let%u2019s not forget the part Congress played in the whole deal. %u201CTake 2 to Tango.....%u201D

And again I am BJP being biased. But what are the options... Mayawati/ DMK / JD / SS??

Jitendra Kumar, sorry if I rubbed you on the wrong side. I am not insulting Sonia here. But I am trying to make a point that she polarizes the nation.
The Defense sectary refused to take orders from the govt. if Sonia was made PM. That is a huge divide. Please let%u2019s understand what could be bad for the nation.
I would like to hear from you Jitendra with some discussion points and not having to argue, please. Let%u2019s keep religion out of this. Congress has equal number of Hindus in its party, if not more then BJP. They would be able to protect religion if that ever was the case. This is just false insecurity. And let%u2019s keep it that way please!!

It's time to get rid of HDG and JDS..
by Sridhar N on Oct 04, 2007 08:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What Character assasination is he talking about? There can't be any for people with no character like the Deve Gowda and his family.Just a day before he said the party never agreed for power transfer and it was only between him and some BJP leaders ..but now he says Quote""It is true that we agreed to share power for 20 months each, but why did the BJP engage in the power transfer debate at least ten months before the deadline," he asked.

Unquote.

He also openly agrees politics is nothing but oppurtunism...this is what his family beleifs are..so again people plaese awake and show them the door.
