Voters awake...time to teach the poticians morality..
by Sridhar N on Oct 05, 2007 03:29 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

People have given mandate to a single party or to a Pre Poll coalition of parties.By having a post poll coalition and having such post poll power sharing agreements the political parties are making the people the real jokers in the process.People should be made aware of this nefarious designs of the political parties and kick them right ..you know where!

Let some file a Public Interest Litigation in the Supreme Court and hope the bench reprimands political parties and the dummy election commission and also direct EC to declare null and void all post poll combinations and so called power sharing agreements. This post poll agrrements and Power sharing agrrements are illegal and the voters are deliberately disenfranchised.

People of India ..get out of sleep and teach these political outfits some befetting lessons.

Thanks.

The largest single party in the assembly remains without power, while both the second largest and the third party have had their turns in power. It is the mockery of democracy.

Unfortunately, the people do not have the power to recall the elected representatives in the event of their non-performance. If this can be built into the electoral system then and only then will these "people's representatives" do what the people mandated them to do. Now, it is 5 years of swindling and damn the people who elected them. By the time the next election comes along, enough wealth has been made for several generations to come. Moreover, votes can be purchased at the time of the elections from illiterates who can be given drink and food a couple of days before elections to influence them to caste their votes in their favour; goondas can be employed to terrorise opponents into silence.

Kumaraswamy is One of the worst,UN CULTURED, UNEDUCATED Chief Minister we have ever seen... Whoever will become the CM they will do the things automatically what u described about him, he dont have his own vision and knowledge, the IAS officers who were around him were good, he followed them thats all. People of this country lost their sense and they are electing wrong people to rule this country... let them suffer. If the people of Karnataka were having little bit sense they should throw away JD(S) and Congress... Its time to give power to BJP. Kumaraswamy is a useless fellow, not at all having the basic qualities of a polititian, he is nothing before BJP's Yediyurappa. This Govt did good job because of BJP. Kumaraswamy failed to make properties, assets and crores of money as his father did because BJP was there, thats the reason he was upset.

HDK impressed state with his dynamism.
by Dinesh Nagaraju on Oct 04, 2007 11:38 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

One of the best CM our state has seen. He was very active, efficient and was highly liked by people. Havent seen anybody who was so-much-in-touch with people of our state. He was a regular newsmaker with inumerous pro-people policies. He was an all-rounder, many issues, like IT, trivial to govt/state/people were addressed but kept on back-burner. Otherwise, IT glared development of Karnataka and got undue attention, inspite of their self-sufficiency. Most Govts made futile attempts to measure their efficiencies by measuring what they did for the IT.

I feel Senior Gowda was like this too, pro-people. Appreciate if anybody points to any specific charges against him, not something personal against him in nature or cases where they had joined hands with vested interests for financial favours/rewards.

Sure! He did know how to remain in the news all the time... but other than the pomp and show, what else was there to show as a concrete result?

He's a pukka son of Gowda senior, a drama actor par excellence!!

Power to BJP? They are a stupid and opportunistic party. They were stupid to help pull down the Congress led govt hoping that Kumaraswamy would give them power 20 months later. Now they are a laughing stock.

Next election, I go to the booth and invalidate my vote. If this is done en-masse, it should create enough of a constitutional crisis to make the law-makers sit up and take notice.

KARNATAKA 2008 - SOME WILD DAY DREAMING by TAMILNADU CM..
by MGR Fan on Oct 04, 2007 11:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

2008 February. Karnataka instability, goes to elections. One hand we have JD(S), then we have Congress and then BJP. People are fed up with all 3 parties.

All of sudden, DMK comes and announces that DMK will contest all 224 seats of Karnataka. Whole state is shocked. Even Tamilnadu state people are shocked.

But the Yellow Towel saint leader of DMK goes on and campaigns day and night pointing out the advantages of two states being ruled by one CM

And elections come. What a surprise - DMK gets 170 seats. Congress gets 40 seats. BJP gets 10 seats. JDS gets only 1 seat.

Then Karnataka and TN decide to unite as one state with summer capital as Bangalore and winter capital as Chennai and Karunanidhi is the CM of both states. As a compromise, Rajnikanth is made governor of both states.

Life goes on great and DMK next plans to spread to more states. Long live DMK, Long Live Karunanidhi, mayhe live for 2000 years atleast...a hh ok the day dream is interrupted by sound of some people protesting against price rise.

I hope it remains a dram unfulfilled.

The state buses will have DVDs where even those who do not want to see it will be forced to see vulgar dances and cheap gyrations of the heros and heroines. Newspapers offices will be attackedif they carry any thing against the family. Parochialism will be fosterd by unnecessarily abusing the Hindu Gods and destroying their symbols for the sake of some ill conceived secular developmental projects.Whatever culture remains will be subsumed by film culture. But one thing, Karunanidhi will have more posts and positions to distribute among and satisfy his large number of children both legitimate and illegitimate.

Mr Kumaraswamy and Gowda should keep their words in regard to transfer of power instead of rating these types of rubbish things. They should first learn to honour their promises given to people and other parties as well.
