Power Transfer
by sameer tandon on Oct 04, 2007 06:29 PM  Permalink

Kumaraswamy is following the footsteps of his father. Just like what they did with congress, they are doing the same with BJP. They don not want to lose control of their precious CM's post, hence finding out irrelevant reasons to stick on to the power. They are doing more harm than good to both JD(S) as well as people of Karnatka

Adhikaara Mada
by The Confused Orient on Oct 04, 2007 06:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

A great Saint and social reformer Shri Purandaradasa who was a non-conformist himself until some incidents changed his life, wrote of experience.....

Anna mada, artha mada, akhila vaibhavada mada, muuna praayada mada, roopa madavu.
Tanna satvada mada, dhaatri vashada mada, innu tanagedurilla ventemba madadinda

He describes the different subtle forms of egotism and pride that we get carried away with, but even that daarshanika did not foresee Adhikaara Mada would play such havoc in society, he missed out on this.

The misgivings of the Gowda family can best be describe so - Adhikara Mada

Well Said....Its true that "adhikara mada" has overtaken all other priorities.Its the people of Karnataka who will suffer due to politicians who are neither honest nor trustworthy.I only hope that karnataka voters teach a strong lesson to people who go back on their words and ditch peoples interests just for the sake of power.I wish Kumaraswamy comes out of his fathers clutches and takes his own decision,the way he did when he bacame CM against his fathers interest.

Power Transfer in Karnataka
by vishvas rao on Oct 04, 2007 06:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What else can one expect from power hungry politicians like Gowda and Sons?
They have ruined Karnataka. It would be better to go to elections and let the people teach the treacherous guys a lesson.

Election Poll Results in Karnataka

Total Seats = 225
Congress = 150
JDS = 50
BJP = ???????

long Live Congress

Logic

In Karnataka
75% = ( BC , SC/ST, Muslims, Christians )
15% = Lingats
12% = Vokkaligas

Nobody will vote for BJP looking at Rajnath Singh's face,
last time around it was the Vajpayee Magic.

rahul Gandhi will bend BJP's spine so bad they will never
comeback to Karnataka. BJP is more or less dead.

Now after ditching do you have any image?
by Indian on Oct 04, 2007 06:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr. Chief Minister... people shouldn't forget that you are son of Mr. Gowda for whom no one (at least in my circle) has Good Opinion. Why don't you keep your words man? Let BJP or whoever does whatever they wish but you keep your words. You want to make money or want to open a new TV channel for your son like you did for your wife?

And to be frank I'm not supporter of Yediyurappa.. he is old man..he himself cant control, how he controls such a wonderful land that's the good question. Some young fellow like you should take charge from BJP. Karnataka is one of Ratna (precious stone) state of India...Your positive part is that you are young dynamic and good candidate for our state, but at the same moment -ve part is that you are son of Deve Gowda. Use your wiseness and on political level discard Deve Gowda (in personal level he is your father, we are not denying and be a good son..but that should be at home or personal level not on you job). And why are you listening to BJP that their leader will spoil your image...Politician never do bad/wrong to others other than simple/humble people.
I still say keep your words..let BJP get their share what you've promised (not to forget you didnt ask ur father while promising BJP)...if BJP dont do well then still you can pull them off...

Vote to Defeat JD(s)
by Saurabh Pal on Oct 04, 2007 06:27 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The people of Karnataka should vote and defeat the unscrupulous DeveGowda family. But I do not think polls will happen so soon. As HDK will find some way to remain in power for another 20 months. The President of India should dissolve the assembly and order fresh elections.

Kumaraswamy, shut your ears n mouth!!!!
by Sudheendra BM on Oct 04, 2007 06:27 PM  Permalink

Dear Kumaraswamy,
You have been a good person so far & proved it by your good governance. Now it is time to shut your ears & mouth. You are listening too much to your father HDDG(who deserves no respect of any kind) and speaking his voice.
If you had any problems with BJP leaders , their allegations you should have quit many months ago when these allegations were made but at that time you were hugging Yediyurappa in every poster and enjoying the power. Now when the transfer time came you are raking up all these issues. We had a view that you are the person with different vision & will do good for the state but your father is corrupting & destroying your mind. Stop listening to him & act according to your brain on merits. Sit down with BJP & sort out all the issues or else shut your mouth and desolve the government & get ready for elections. Do not give any more silly reasons suggested by your beloved father, it will tarnish your image further.

Thanks n Bye
