BJP's actions show their desire to clinch power somehow. JD(S) has already shown similar attitude. Still hoping for power transfer makes BJP no different than other power hungry political parties

Karnataka Crises

JD(S) is a party of thugs, the biggest of them being Deva Gowda, what all drama he did when his son and couple of other withdrew support to the Congress government, telling everybody that it was the saddest day of his life etc, but every educated guy in Karnataka knows that it was nothing but a hoax, called by the whole Gowda family. Nobody expected the JD(S) to transfer power to BJP, in fact I would call the BJP also opportunistic for supporting JD(S), they also wanted to make as much money possible by being in power, just like there colleagues in JD(S). The people had a fractured verdict, but Congress being the largest party, was the only party which was representing the masses, but since we live in a democracy where the number of seats count more than the percentage of votes polled for the party, we have to live with people like Deva Gowda and clan, who can go to any extent for being in power, also BJP. I would request the Congress not to support the JD(S), let the mid term polls happen and I am sure that Congress will emerge victorious. I strongly believe that the election Commission should modify the rule and give power to that party which has been voted the max % of votes, this will go a long way in helping us come over situations like these.

reg. transfer of power to the BJP
by Parshuram Sontakki on Oct 04, 2007 11:53 AM  Permalink

Looking at the agreement made between JDS & BJP,
20 months back, CM-kumarswamy should give his resignation, and transfer the power to the BJP.
Kumarswamy should not do such drama at the time
of transfer of power.

His father Devegowda should not involve in this issue, because Gowda is nowhere concerned in this matter.
As per the agreement made between JDS-BJP, rest of 20 months, Yediyurappa has right to rule the state, whereas, Kumarswamy has no right to continue as CM.
If Kumarswamy does'nt transfer his power to BJP, it is not reliable to the JDS party.
It shows selfishness of Kumarswamy.
For betterment of the JDS party CM should give his resignation to the BJP.
