indeed, rajnath is perfectly right on the money. sonia should give up gandhi name she aquired from rajiv who too, following mahatma's lead, belived in ramrajya as the ideal for india. and in the process, sonia should return all the loot now resident in the rajiv gandhi foundation pvt ltd back to the natinoal treasury.

Why is Christianity getting pulled into this conversation. From the begening of times, christianity has gone thru the worst abuses.Even today Christians are Killed, beaten-up or put to Jail in INDIA, but we have never complained, but fought for our rights alone.Christianity has never demanded for a special privilege or a status or a Nation, we are a part of INDIA.Neither Christianity is congress nor BJP.

Because of the surname Gandhi Indira Gandhi was fooling even the whole International community-because they thought she was the daughter of Mahatma Gandhi. But the Truth... Nehru did not approve the love of Indira priyadarshini with a Parsi-Muslim named Feroz Khan. Both went to Gandhi for support and being Mahatma he adopted Feroz as his son and gave his name as his surname and got them married. When these true love story is not known to most Indins how foriegners will come to know of it. As the south indian voters were under the impression that Gandhi and congress only got freedom and thought Indira Gandhi was somehow related to Gandhi they have always supported Indira and her version of Congress during her lifetime and voted her even after emergency. So how many generations this family should be allowed to use Gandhi's name even after spoiling the country by ruling mostly after Independence, and blaming poor BJP for all the ills of India today.. All right thinking Indians Please think...

India has a history of tolerating foreign parasites. She is one from Italy! It is, in fact not the fault of a parasite to breed, it has to. Fault lies with the house owner who should have kept his premises clean, so that the parasite could not breed on Gandhi name
First of all, I m not a Brahmin. Now My question is who generally harras/exploit Dalits? 100yrs back, yes mostly those were brahmins but today?? In Andhra, Reddy, In Maharashtra,mostly marathas, In North, Mostly thakurs. Last year, In maharashtra, a dalit family was killed in small villege, khairlanji.Not a single brahmin was involved in that. But u see/listen any of Dalit or all non brahmin leaders, they will attack only on brahmin for castism. They will sing same story how from 1000yrs brahins ruled/exploited. In today's scenario,Brahmins don't have political presence much. If u consider, whole India, percentage wise they are much lesser in goverment jobs. So how come this cast can influence/dominence on others?
See, in the society, castism exists. The non brahmin leaders take benefit from it. All these thakurs/ reddys/ marathas will kill their daughter if at all she decides to marry a dalit guy. Meanwhile on day to day politics, they will try to show how they are trying to reform society. If something wrong happens then they will always blame Brahmins. About Dalit leaders, its a life long opportunity. Just attack on brahmin cast and control dalit votes and enjoy Kursi/ministership.
and poor dalits,they continue to live in slums and gets cheated/harrassed/ exploited from some non brahmin dominent cast and claps on some antibrahmin comments from their leaders

This issue with BJP requiring Sonia "GANDHI" to drop her surname must take precedence in their political manifesto over other not so critical issues like fighting for better infrastructure, building our financial markets, fighting illiteracy, poverty etc. etc....(you see the list of non-issues is endless)
Grow up people....smell the smoke....for once, practice Constructive governance and not fight for trivialities.
