salutes to the hero who made supreme sacrifice for the motherland fighting the terrorists trying to destroy our nation. We have lost him one of those great warriors who make us sleep peacefully. Praying for peace to departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to manage this irrepairable loss i do hope that good senses would prevail or administrators whilst negotiating on kashmir to ensure sacrifices like that of late Major Vinay do not go in vain

My deepest condolences to the family of Major Kumar. Infact i feel I m a memeber of his family as Mr Prabhakar has taught me when I was at NAARM as a trainee scientist in 1991. This sad news comes as a shock. May the departed soul rest in peace (Amen). I salute the Shaheed and condemn the terrorism.

Salutes to our Armed Forces who sacrifice their lives for the well being of the nation. Deepeset condolences to the parents who have given iNdia one of its bravest sons..
Thank God that REDIFF has now started to highlight the sacrifice and martyrdom of our soldiers and taken a brweak from highlighting the so called plight of the convicted criminals like Sanjubabas and Salloos.
It is indeed comforting to note that the saviours of the nation and about the only people who do everything for the country (READ SOLDIERS AND JAWANS)and her citizens are finally getting a mention on your website and search Engine.

Though words are not sufficient to express our grief at this time of catastrophe.. may i express the heartfelt solidarity of each and every true indian who identifies with the brave Major. India if it is intact today is only becos of such brave souls who will forever be eternal. May his soul rest in peace.. and may God Almighty give the Major's family the strength to bear this irredemable loss.
the criminals who occupy the hallowed corridors of power in our country should be shot dead and cleared by the Army first.. the terrorists will take care of themselves then.
