NATION`S NOTION
by Keshav on Oct 03, 2007 03:53 PM  Permalink

ITS PITY WE LOST SOMEONE AGAIN.FIRST MY WHOLE FAMILY PAYS SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY MEMBERS OF THE OFFICERS AND MEN MARTYED . AS A NATION, NO WIN IS A WINCELEBERATING TILL WE ARE FREE TO PROGRESS . IT SEEMS ANRACHY ALL AROUND,BE IT IN POLITICS,BE IT IN BURECRECY,SERVICES. NO SYMPATHY IS EXPECTED TO BE GENERATED EXCEPT THE MOMENTARY ONE.THATS HOW THIS NATION HONOURS ITS BRAVE AND SINCERE SONS AND DAUGHTERS.WALK THROUGH ANY POWER CENTRE AND YOU WILL FIND HOW THE POLITICIAN,BURECRATES,POLICE(ALL OFFICIAL GOONS)GENERALS,ADMIRAL, AIR MARSHAL FIGHTING 2 GET THE LION SHARE OF MAKING MONEY IN REAL AND MONTETARY TERMS. ONE CAN SEE HOW THE GENERALS ,ADMIRAL AND AIRMARSAL FALSIFY ALL THING TO GET AND TERM IT AS PRIVELAGES OF THE POST , SEE THE AMOUNT OF UNNCESSARY FOREIGN JAUNTS AND FAVORATISM MADE. ANYTHING CAN BE BOUGHT HERE AND CAN LOOK JUSTIFED .THE WRONGS DONE IS MEARLY EYEWASHED TO ENABLE THEM 2 START A NEW PROJECT. THE SOLIDERS GIVE LIFE FOR UNFAITHFUL AND CORRUPT BOSSES. RELEASING FEW LAKHS OF MARTYDOM MONEY (AFTER NECESSARY CUTS) AFTER RUNNING FROM PILLAR 2 POST BY RELATIVES IS WHAT THE MARTYED MEN`S FAMILY WITH HAVE TO FACE. CHECK DE INDIA

they are enjoying life on public expense
by Lijjat Papad on Oct 03, 2007 03:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The slain major deserves rich tributes as he laid down his life for the country. However, it is indeed sad that an italian catholic is representing india at the UN on public money along with her son all the while when country's army is losing officers and soldiers.

Lose sleep at least for a day Mr. Prime Minister
by Mahesh on Oct 03, 2007 03:51 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is heart wrenching to hear this. It is because of such heroes that we are able to get on with our lives normally. My condolences to the families involved. Also, army should do a better job of informing the family in a different and sensitive way rather than calling over phone and breaking the news.

Major Vinasaluting you 3 times
by NILESH R on Oct 03, 2007 03:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Feeling personally very bad for the major Vinay's family!
But like they say the men in Uniform prefer to die while fighting may be Vinay achieved that honours and accepted with open hands forgeting his personal life.
Bravo Major Vinay I salute you 3 times from my heart!
If our politicians have even 1 % commitment for the motherland like Major Vinay had shown then India will be a totally different country!

INDIAN PRESIDENT HAILED MUSHARRAF ''DISTINGUISHED SON OF DELHI'' IN HIS BANQUET ADDRESS
by Kabeer on Oct 03, 2007 03:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Ironically, while every self respecting Indian is hailing martyred Major Ravi as the 'True son of India' it was Indian Armed Forces Supreme Commander and the Indian Head of State the President of India K R Narayanan, hailed the Kargil crime perpetrator as "A DISTINGUISHED SON OF DELHI" in his banquet address.

This is the state of Indian affairs and Its Supreme Commander of Armed Forces.

However, there are enough self respecting Indians who are expressing their solidarity with the family of the martyred Major Ravi. Another Major from the same city too was martyred (Major Padmapaani Acharya) defending Kargil heights!

Major Ravi Amar Rahe!
