There some people in the minority communities that will degenerate to any level and support all unscrupulous elements to keep BJP away. As long as they behave like that, BJP will keep growing.

This is not the way to wipe out BJP. Breaking the agreement after enjoyimg power for 20 months, bringing in some funny reasons for nothanding over power as per the agreement, denying that it is not an agreement show the JD(S) belongs to gutters and lead by a gutter politician called Deva Gowda. He is sinister, malicious and third rate.
RE:Cmon

Remember 60 Years back whose dick in your mouth. How much center money wasted by you guys? Don't think SW everything. Still 65% GDP controlled by so called northies. Shame less JD and his follower.
I guess like Jayalitha, DMK and other 'secular' parties JD too can flirt with BJP and Congress at will depending on power equations and yet claim to uphold the principles of secularism with a straight face.
There truly is no accounting for the gullible, is it a wonder then the state the country is in when people are blatantly insincere and morons come on the rediff boards to defend that.
The shamelessness of the JD in making a commitment and then backing out like this is astonishing. The idea that there would be a single person who could think positively about this nevermind your personal political affiliations is truly baffling.
There is no integrity in this country in politics and elsewhere. Politicians are a reflection of us and the sooner we stop deceiving ourselves and accept our own inadequacies the better it will be.

What about JD(S)' commitment to people who voted it in the first place when it promised to uphold secularism and protect the weak? Doesn't that commitment come before an unholy opportunistic so-called "commitment" made to a rabidly communal party?

BJP got what it deserved......a big plastic chambu full of gowda laddi. The next logical thing for the Bharatiya Jokers Party is to drown in that chambu and terminate itself!

Ha ha ha. The BJP has become a joke today. It loves to get screwed over and over again. It got screwed by Mayawati earlier and now got screwed by Gowda:-) The BJP should stop wailing now and go and nurse their sore ass :-)

Well said ! To the BJP everything is " use & throw" Like the bjp is using the people of india and lord ram and throwing both out @ will , the JD(s) is using it and throwing it out too. Keep it up JD ! Pay them in their own coin !
More than some loose, opportunistic pact between an individual Kumaraswamy and an opportunistic, power-hungry BJP, the JD(S) first priority should be to uphold peace and secularism. In that context, the JD(S) need not feel guilty about breaking the pact.
BJP will destroy both peace and secularism and unleash bloodshed in the state. Stopping the BJP is JD(S) sacred duty and hats off to Deve Gowda for taking such a brilliant stand.

Hey robin Hood
BJP is the largest party in Karnataka assembly... Despite garnering 78 votes, it still could not form a government, as opportunists/secularists got together and formed the JD(S)and Congress government with Dharam Singh... Then JD(S) booted congress government by generating rebel legistlator, perhaps, by conspiracy, to form a conditional government...

You can talk about secularism as long as Hindus are in majority. The day Hindus number goes down, there won't be any talk about secularism. Then we will realise what is the "peace" means. See what is happening in the world. That day will come if we keep supporting non-BJP parties.

robin, you gowda's lo*da
I am really proud of Gowda. Jai Gowdaji. This shows that a poor farmer who rose to be the PM of a great nation cannot be blackmailed at gunpoint by a national party. JDS should continue ruling and not provide an opportunity to corrupt fundamentalists, who will threaten the secular fabric of peace loving Karnataka.
