Undoubtedly, Modi is the most efficient CM in India today, & perhaps one of the best gujarat might have ever seen. His handling of the godhra & post godhra riots projects that he does not believe in appeasement of the minorities as has been the case of our country.
It will need a herculean effort to defeat him.

People tell all the stories abou what happened after Godhara in gujarat. But there are few points to keep in mind. - Godhara was a spontaneous response of the brutal act of Muslims, who burnt 59 men, women and children alive - modi controlled it beautifully by deploying armi in just 48 hours. - out of 740 odd died, more than 300 were Hindus died due to police bullets - had not been it Modi there, the death toll would have been 7000 and not 700 - being a gujarati and watched it all we know thae facts. People outside only know reported things by schedosecular NDTV and STAR english reporters and not the facts - he has done tremendous progress for Gujarat and Gujarat last 5 years is without any riots and is the safest state in India
Modi has the image even higher than Advani and Vajpayee. Many BJP stalwarts within BJP are jealous of Modi. They project modi as a hardliner in orde to sbtle his claim of candidature for the PM post. The internal clashes within BJP would lead it to nothing but resulting in another congress.
