we should not be troubled or be enthused by the attitude and the capacity of the indiviual leaders. the majority of pakistani citizens should exibit a friendly, and secular attitude towards the indian republic. i feel it will take considerable time.
In media the rhetoric comments about the soldier like character of Kiyani is completely wrong.i.e He favours Mussaraf to rule his country without any rules.Under his supervision ths MQM has again touched the peak of their gangster like activities in Karachi and whole world has seen the tragic incident of 12 May, no doubt all planned in ISI head office.He was actively particapted in the removal of CJP to please his boss without considering the strong and respectable personal character of CJ.The monks like abdul aziz of lal masjid were groomed and backed up by ISI and here are many many more incident which clearly indicate that he has more emphasised on ruling his own people rather then securing our borders as smuggling of agriculture products and other items increased four times than before resulting inflation in our country.So please stop impressing or fearing from uniform. Even if a turk gives up Islam, he is still a turk. If a Arab gives up Islam he is still an Arab. If a persian is not a muslim, he does not become less persian. However a Paki is very much concerned about Islam and will remain a muslim, which is his identity because............. if he is not a muslim, he becomes an Indian !!!!!
Let it be General Mush.or be Mr.Kiyani.Check it what is best & Worst for India out of this change.Tillthe date Genral Mush has done much better than any political leader in Pak.He has handled extreme situations since 9/11.Being a Soldier & without being political leader,he has done much better for Pak.

Agree with you. I read his book "In the line of fire", written quite well. He is an impressive man and has a vision for Pakistan.
I think he is much better than the corrupt politicians in Pakistan.
This same guy Lt Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani will one day eliminate Parvez from his position and become a new dictator of Pakistan :) such is the nature of that country and their people. Musharraf was promoted by Nawaz Shariff and you all know the "history".

Don't have to pray for that. History proves that Muslims are cut throat prople( Literally). Every one since the known time has murdered their parents, brothers, sisters or anyone in the family to gain power. They dont have any culture. They are pure barbarians, waiting for 72 virgins in heaven. What a culture.
In this world they have about 3 or 4 wifes, they are not satisfied and they want 72 virgins in heaven.
They dont know that when they die their brother will not even raise and cant even enjoy one virgin let alone 72 of them.

Hey TIM do you have any problem with abbas ali. whatever abbas ali may be, a Hindu crist or any one else. why are you so critic to ISLAM. every religion have some followers which don't deserve to be a Human being. if ISLAM has so has HINDUISM and SIKHISM and CRIST. can you tell yourself when did you done something really good for someone of you religion so that your help may have changed his life or at least supported it.

There is no point in eliminating individuals. Israel has a long way to go before it achieves peace. Hope we don't take that long.
Besides, Pakistan, unlike Palestine, has nuclear weapons.
Anyway I'm sure we will solve our problems sooner or later. Remember Narasimha Rao's statement in Parliament in 1994: We will solve [the Kashmir problem] with you (or) without you (or) in spite of you!

Yes. Musharraf is very, very cunning. He wants to make sure that his successor is also very cunning, and so who could be better than the ISI chief? This way Musharraf can continue to indirectly monitor and direct anti-India activity and also make liberal Pakistani journalists and other rebels 'disappear'. I hope America wisens up to this. I know Israel must have.

Best part is on one end she is cutting ARM deal for her uncle Quotrochi and on the other end she is preaching Mahatma Gandhi's non voilence doctrine at UN. Our country is a joke.
Mush is much more powerful (and cunning) than we are led to believe. I believe controls everything in Pakistan like a true dictator - including the supreme court. The "debacle" regarding with removal of CJ Chaudhry was his very own ploy - it was probably a "quid-pro-quo" deal made with the supreme court: First he removes the CJ, then lets the SC reinstate him. Then, the same SC makes him eligible for reelection in uniform! He made himself look "weak" by the SC ruling on the CJ, but was able to achieve his bigger goal. If he had the power to overthrow an elected government, don't you think he can manipulate SC? He is dangerous and knows how to play his cards to keep US "happy".
All the military Generals never give their post or retire in Pakistan, they only die, and only then then the next General is able to take over....in all Pakistan is a failed state and a hopeless country!!

When they are digging their grave so deep that there is sight of bottom-we shouild be prepare for a failed state as the turmiol will be even worse than partition.With the help of US -it can be divied into three provinces-sindh,punjab an balochistan but I hope it will not.The future agenda of CIA will be to do this-but India cannot be mute spectator.
