JDs marries Congress .
by zainul abedin sayed on Oct 02, 2007 05:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is a dangerous coalition for the people of karnataka and JDs too.Go by the history and see how the congress party has ditched the coalition
partners and the people. The JDs BJP combine has
at least done some work for the people. But if JDs shakes hand with most untrustworthy HAND I am sure the Kannadigas will teach a lesson to JDs once again. This old sleeping xPM is leading JDs to disaster, wait and watch.

Dont worry my friend, if you are from karnataka see the recently concluded local body elections. The bloody congresswalas shall not dare to go to people for begging votes. They have to bend down in front of Devegowda to pass another 20 months, by that time they will have some issue to face people. No problem to Gowda and sons.

Karnataka: A Cong-JD(S) govt in the offing?
by narayanan kumar on Oct 02, 2007 05:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

this is 2 nd bad experience for BJP
one in UP with mayavathi and afterwards BJPs base started eroded in uttar Pradesh and now in Karnataka. hence forth they should be careful with their allies.
if JD-s and cong form govt BJP should work as effective opposition and expose their failure then only they can come back in next karnatake election

by Sanjeev Sharma on Oct 02, 2007 05:41 PM  Permalink
There are 2 reason for a disastrous move of BJP to ally with disrespectable politicians like Mayawati and Dave Gaowda who have backstabbed all their partners, and even mentor in case of Mayawati.

1. BJP, despite having good leaders could not increase its vote share in Karnataka significantly. This is due to infighting as well as due to caste-based voting.

2. The spectre created by sickulars who equate BJP in power with a devil. The machinations of sickulars, their disrespect towards law of land (Kerala/Punjab/Karnataka/now TN) are more than a match for BJP which has been forced into desperation in search for allies.

The cold truth, there is no escape for BJP. It cannot forever rely on allies. It has to do the political work itself, grow its own support base, and not take its voters for granted.
BJPm however is in no mood to learn. So it will continue to lurch from Mayawati to Dave Gowda.

Deve Gowda deserves to wear sarees and not lungi !!!!
by Gundu on Oct 02, 2007 05:13 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Deve Gowda looks better with sarees than with lungi !!! Lungi is not meant for a person like him. So, better if he uses sarees and bangles. He has lost all morality in his life. His son is following the same now.

You cant fool people all the time, can you justify your statement. If devegowda had done any misdeed during his term in office, including PMO, people had wiped him out of politics by this time, but that has not happened. Remember he's the son of soil, and shall be remembered for ever and ever. Hes one of the few politicians who are not indulged in any scams inspite of being in all ranks of power.

The time he gets defeated from one constutuency, he changes the same and go and contest from new place. Last time, he contested from 2 places and won from one place. The defeat he got from a lady candidate who is new to politics.

If he is so honest, why should have allowed his son to take the help of BJP so far. Is he not fooling or are you a number one fool in this world, Mr. Ravi ????

Mr. gundu, remember one thing, defeat is not new to politicians, winning or loosing is common in politics, its the people verdict, u have to accept it. Theres no harm in contesting 2 constitutencies, and also defeat by a lady is not a big thing. A defeat is a defeat and at the same time win in Hassan is a win. Better understand the facts. NOt just to oppose Devegowda do not exaggerate the facts.

If the main agenda of all polotical parties is to keep BJP from getting into power, then its hightime that we bring in two-party system to stop all this nonsense / farce agreements....

Hindus have to forget the caste politics and vote enmass for BJP and support them, so that the country is saved from congressis and all other such pea-brained dumbos...

True, But history has shown that hindus fight among themselves and never unite like the muslims and sc/st's. That is one of the reasons why invaders into india had easy passage and ruled over us for centuries, first the mughals and then the british. only Gandhi couls unite us all and we got freeedom only to become slaves to congress, muslims, sc/st,s vote bank politics. It is only when we unite as one and vote enmasse for bjp, make it win by a thumping majority, then congress/mayawati/karunadhi, etc will realise the power of hindus. till then..............

exactly...the main reason BJP is not able to form a government of its own, is because of polarisation of Hindu votes to other parties, eventhough BJP was the single largest party, it could not form the Govt, since there was no majority...Even Dr Kalam had advocated the need for a 2 party system - but I really doubt if our politicians have the will power to bring it into practice...not in near future atleast...

I dont see any act which provide opportunities and money to fight next election or recover your cost of previous as idiotic.BJP is no exception. They did not have any choice rather to support and collect money .Rather we should say that they are making fool of people and people are accepting that. Every time political parties change their stand and policies to gather money by all means. They are just eating away our society and public fund.
