Vedic/brahminic religion entered only after 400A.D. The gods in south India are more fake than imaginary mythological gods of North India. It is because South Indian gods are recent avatars (since 800A.D.& after bhakti movement) of Dravidian Samanar(ancient jainism) temples. Most of South Indian temples are converted and renamed as Hindu temples by using mere avatar technic. South Indian gods are not even mythological and have no mention in any veda or purana. Do you read Venkateshawara or Arunachaleshwara or chandramoulishawar in vedas?
The SC order is certainly not a judicial encroachment. It is matter affecting the law of the land and a ruling party trying to earn mileage thru wasteful and costly bundhs needs to be told where it gets off. The behaviour of the ruling of TN certainly smacks of irresponsibility and could be a fit case for President's Rule. If the centre is with the Karunanidhi govt, it is out of selfish interests.
The CPM is somehow always on the wrong side of the divide. It appears to illogical, irrational and downright stupid. Can Mr. Karat answer what is the connection between the Sethusamudram project and the transport unions going on strike? Can he assign a single reason why they decided to strike? The reasons are apparent. Not only the stupid CM of the state of TN but the anti-national leftists should be hauled up for contempt.
In the name of parliament,as supreme, the nation cannot be hijacked by brute majority, beacuse there is a breakdown ,and dirty politics being played by our politicians, we now see the courts interfereing, we saw the greated terrorists aligned with the high and mighty, and now we see the left and dmk,cannot hoot the judiciary, and mock at it, we all know when we inherite criminals as of rulers, we may have to mis trust even the parliamentry democracy. SC is our last source.

well Karnataka already made fun of SC when SC asked to release Cauvery? Go back and study history since 1991.
If bandh is caused, who gets affected. Only the public. Someone has mother sick at home and he cannot get medicine, one cannot take medical attention. There are many other important task which may not be done. It may affect someones career because he/she may have to appear in exam. For the politicians, it is easiest to call bandh and have some business and in actual practice, it the public at the recieving end. Many a times, public property is damaged, personal property is damaged, cars-vehicles are burnt, shops are damaged. That is the fall out of a bandh. Now who can justify this. I can say that Karunanidhi won't have any concern on this. Just like the communists, who have no other business than organising the Bandh. Contributing to the development is a foreign subject to them. There is nothing wrong in what Supreme court did, ask any sensible person and he will say the same.

Supreme court gave verdict to Karnataka to release Cauvery water for dying TamilNadu farmers. And Karnataka made fun of SC by going on a 'Pada Yadra'. No one in India cared abt it.

Well SC gave verdict on Narmada Dam Height and that helped Gujarat to silence Centre ( Congress) as well as Medha Patkar.
I believe SC has a Role play which helps the Nation.
Here it looks funny, the man in incharge of TN state says do not work, call a bundh.
This bundh system has to be BUNDH. MK is a experience politician he should devise other ways to reach the goal instead of Dividing the society.

The dispute and conflict of judgfement between Chennai High court and Delhi supreme court come opely to the publice when Chennai high court dismissed the petition filed by AIADMK on Monday afternoon (Oct 1st)on Tamilnadu bundh issue. The chennai High court said that if the case is handled by the supreme court than we have no business with it, you go to supreme cout only. So they dismised the AIADMK petition. Even Karunanidhi stated that he obeyed as per the direction of High court. Now the question is what is governor of the state role. Why opposition party go to supreme court when the sate governor is walking distance away. They know the supreme court can play the dance per their music on sunday? Court is not an functionaity office for the people. It is should act as an refree. This is like foodball refree is playing a game and putting a goal. This is a foul game supreme court. Abhijit, Ships going around Srilanka goes thru international waterways and thus, they don't need to fee. if they wanna a save petrol (or deisel or gas), they need to go thru Sethu Canal and they need to pay for the people who digged the canal (just like toll road)... digging the canal and maintaining the canal is a job oppurtunity than fishing and getting caught by Srilankan navy

Hello Mr.SS, What makes you think that only Ramsethu will rescue your poverty. Start to learn to work hard and produce less children and it will make you sufficient. If Karunanidhi continues to do such politics, be sure your situation will not improve, rather deteriorate.
