Twenty???How Hyderabad hasimproved without even a port? How Bagalore shines without any sea? How Noida is developing fastly without any sea or port? This canal excavation is a criminal fraud! You remember that durin Narashimma Rao rul, there was a Scandal called "Urea" scanadal. They paid 64 crores to a "Company" in Turkey. Leave aside religious mumbo-jumbo/BJP/DMK/Rama, Environmental scientist have expressed grave concern for this project. Even if you discount marine life death/decay, the sea-currents are stadily depositing sands on the palk straight.
The current day palk-strait is a few hundred feet shallower than it was 1000-2000 years ago.
This means that the activity of dredging the sea (after constructing the canal) has to go-on forever. Not only that it would have to be done more frequently and hence would be an expensive activity.
Now you really know who would prosper. The people or some vested-interests like shipping/dredging companies.
The same Genome research says that first humans evolved in East-Africa / Ethiopia.
Going by that definition, the so called "LOCALS" of India should also be from the same place.
Now should every one in india go back to that same place.
Class is perpetuated not only by brahmins, but equally by every body else.
The Anglican Church and the Catholic Church, which still continues to perpetuate Religious/Racial Superiority and hegemony are the most visible examples of ORGANIZED class based hierarchies.
The english and the european societies are decadent with class atrocities.
I personally don't support caste/class structures and would love to see india go the US way in this aspect.
This transformation is already happening in Indian cities in a big way. Many Indian political parties at the beginning (including Dravidar Kazhagam) have shown lot of foresight and have initiated and hastened the transformation.
But people like MK would definitely want these changes to be reversed so that his ilk/kith/kin can forever be in power.
there is some defect in his birth, he has no respect for people, democracy, religion. he is taking the power and using it to his full satisfaction but one thing is sure he is shining bright may be because he is going to fall.

A real Tamilian who has studied what Mr.Karunanidhi has written as literature would not allow his family members to study it. The time has come to disprove his inborn talent as a writer. The rest of the country should also try to study his all literature which is full of abusive and absurd language only which he knows. He has abused not alone Rama. He has called all the North Indians which he call them as Aryans as half baked fellows while providing comment on the following Thirukkural in 'Van Puzhal Kanda Valluvam'.
Previously he called the Lord Krishna as 'Tharkuri'(one who has false knowledge) in Kurolovium through which he earned better name, fame and also money.

He has no respect for the Law of the land, nor respects the sentiments of the Hindus and plays 'minority communal politics' to the hilt.To cover up his dark deeds and foul words,he calls others as 'communal forces'.The truth is, none is more communal than him,and it is the UPA-Left combine which is dividing the people on the basis of caste and communalism.Karuna cannot deceive the general public any more. Can you open your eyes & see the TN then(AMMA) and Now with kalaignar. Still he is much much better than the stupid AIADMK reign amma. Don't say TN is neglected becoz of DMK. It is the AIADMK lady who bought TN into darkshell where lakhs of people where sacked from job and sent to home. Which TN people even today does'nt forget her.

1.) When Jaya sacked 100000 govt employees, many common people were happy-Reason-The torture given by the govt officials. Moreover, doing strike and causing inconvenience by others is not liked by anyone. 2.) If your servant maid goes on strike for salary hike at a crucial time will you appreciate that? 3.) Jaya adopted zero tolerance against terrorism. She is adamant, at the same time, a good person. It is the comedy of Vijaykanth and coalition of Cong, PMK and others has defeated her in the Elections. 4.) As Vijaykanth says, does any party has the guts to contest the elections on its own without an alliance? Let Karuna and Ramdoss answer this first.
