It was too late, Buses did not ply on the road even in the evening at 5.00 p.m and many of the shops were closed out of fear of retaliation. This was not a bandh but a threat.

Well,I have a question.Do people in South India ,with Dravidian majority not celebrate Diwali? If they do.What do they celebrate it for?If there is a question mark on existence of Ram then why celebrate Diwali?

Diwali is celebrated by the majority. You will not find a difference. This Ram issue is started by Knidhi for business reasons. He and TR Balu received a lot of money for the project and you see they have to fullfill their commitment

We'd welcomed a similar judgement in Cauvery issue also

We would've welcomed a similar judgement against Karnataka by SC on Cauvery water issue!. Karnataka never respected the SC order. What should be done to Karnataka!?.

100 % agreed. Any party not implementing court orders should be punished.

SC should Issue non-bailable warrants
by Sanjeev Sharma on Oct 01, 2007 05:24 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

for Chief Secretary and Chief Minister because the prime moron is not willing to dismiss a government that conciously and willingly disobeys the judicial orders.
SC has done that in case of Kalyan Singh, who was even imprisoned. Why is the law not same for all criminals ?

Modi & Advani should go to jail first. They were the traitors of law in many cases.

Prime moron should abstain away and escape from the scene of action, while SC hauls the half-blind idiot.
I don't think it would be difficult for prime moron to let the small moron have some fun with courts. And everyone will believe that he was not consulted by real prime minister.

culture of government employees
by R Balasubramanian on Oct 01, 2007 05:19 PM  Permalink

All statements are only an eye wash. How can crew opt of duty when they have worked on Sunday. Government staff who have abstained from duty should be marked leave and leave adjusted from their credit. Thinking Monday to be a Bundh, most of the Government employees would have programmed for a picnic/outing which the SC ruling has spoiled. Most of the people aspire to join government service only to enjoy their life not knowing that, the salary paid to them is from public money. It is high time a stricture is passed on all government departments for better efficiency and public friendly and timely disposal of files.
