As chief minister, Karunanidhi was far more efficient than Annadurai. And, unlike his mentor, totally corrupt. By 1971, his regime had institutionalised corruption. Gone were the lofty Dravidian principles.

YES, TN GOVT. SHOULD BE DISMISSED, DMK UNION MINISTERS TO BE SACKED!!
by wani bhardwaj on Oct 01, 2007 07:19 PM  Permalink

That means, their strike is a political one and they wants to strike againast public and the defy the order of SUPREME COURT thereby causing complete break down on law and order situation in the state. If DMK is interested for a speedy construction of SETHU PROJECT, then as a alliance partner of the UPA, they can protest by resigning their MINISTERS from the UPA (we are not asking for withdraw the support to UPA). If so, public can digest their theory on this issue. SO, IT IS CLEAR. THE TN GOVT. VIOLATED THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, DEFIED THE SUPREME COURT VERDICT. UPA IS DIVIDED ON THIS ISSUE. CONGRESS TO KEEP THEIR RULE IN DELHI SUPPORTING THE ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES OF THEIR ALLIANCE PARTNER AND NOT TAKING SC VERDICT. SO, WE ASK SUPREME COURT TO GIVE FULL AND FINAL VERDICT AND DISMISS THIS GOVT. FORTHWITH AND PUT IT UNDER PRESIDENT'S RULE TILL A GOOD ATMOSPHERE IS RETURN TO TN (AS WE UNDERSTAND OUR PRESIDENT IS A PUPPET OF UPA, SHE CANNOT DEFY THE DIKTATS OF SONIA). WE WANTS JUSTICE AND WE EXPECT AT THIS TIME ONLY FROM OUR HONOURABLE SUPREME COURT OTHERWISE, WE WILL HAVE TO INVITE OUR MILITARY TO COME FORWARD AND TAKE INDIA'S RULE FOR ATLEAST 5 YEARS AS ASKED BY ONE GENERAL IN THE INDIRA'S TIME.

It is the clear violation of Constitution of India. When our Hon'ble Supreme Court given its judgement that the strike called by the ruling party in TN is unconstitutional and TN Ruling Party and its leftists intellectuals dared to thrown out the verdicts into the air and made PUT A SHAME on Indian Constitution itself. It is more dangerous than that of the verdicts given by Allhababad High Court and then Supreme Court against late Indira's election which then led our country into an emergency rule. Indira was also thrown out the verdict of SUPREME COURT and declared instead emergency to continue her illegal rule in this country under emergency. Now, here the question is: When SC declares that the strike called by ruling party in any state is illegal. Common man and millions of Indian people, if EC asks for a vote on this issue, 90% people will agree that SC is correct on this issue. We can understand bandhs and hartals when called by opposition parties (even though it is in this era, illegal as majority of the people are against this total bandhs and if political parties are any grievances, then they have to take alternative type of strikes which will not hinder the public life badly). What a stupidity these ruling parties are doing: they are ruling the state, they are supporting the central govt. and have dozens of ministers in the central Govt. then what is the use of putting obstacles to the common man by declaring bandhs and hartals. What they want to achieve? ....continue

old politicians waiting to die, these days Karunanidhi is at dangerous and stupid best.
That his sun is slowly setting is clear from the fact that DMK, even in the tumultuous poltical landslide oriented climate of TN failed to gained even a simple majority. This is compounded by the powerlust of DMK leaders running businesses for which they are central ministers, and immoral and illegal polygamist behaviour of its current godfather.

A rap from SC is nothing new and expected for our secularist leaders, but for DMK and its semi-blind nut leader, such a thing, particularly so soon after he indulged in his favourite fantasy game of insulting national heroes, does not auger any good.

The emphasis of Sethusamudram project has served to focus the attention on the business model of DMK which is based on loot of public exchequer by well-connected politicians.

Needless to say, in the modern climate of economic liberalisation, DMK's model of business, being family based, is not only in-efficient but also destined to implode in its face.
Add to that the possibilityy of another midnight tour to prison (arranged by Her Excellency !) just in case he happens to insult Jay Lalitha (not an impossibilty given his foul mouth and the propensity of DMK MLAs to reach for her Saree in Assembly) and you have all the ingradients of an old fool dying/committing suicide in prison.

clear case of willful disobedience of the supreme court. shame on the chief secretary, who
sends false report.this leads to untold damage
to GOOD governance in future.
of the three parties that ruled TN sofar (cong,
dmk, aiadmk) twice was its govts. dismissed, and
it was DMK on both occasions. this tells the story, plain. evan now ,anybody who expresses his
views on setu project is branded as anti-tamil,
if doesnt agree with dmk view. rediculous.
and today a central minister openly challenges the SC,and blames the judges.ARE THEY FREE FROM
FAULTS? how a centrl minister can behave in such
a low manner,in a situation like this.
the project is at best like a small-scale industry,in terms of employment.other than politicians tamils may not get the benefit as it
is projected.
as usual the dmk is rousing the tamil sentiment
and interested in recouping lost pride than project implementation,as no democracy worth
mentioning can go ahead with such highly flexible conditions, against predominant majority
sentiments.
reactions of congress leaders is silly ,and awkward.and really speaks of their caliber.
"HEY RAM" GANDHI IS EQUATED WITH A POLITICIAN
WHO SAYS "WHO'S RAM?. CROSSED ALL INSANE LEVELS.
WHICH GANDHI HE IS REFERING TO? AND THIS FROM A
CONGRESSMAN? PAISA BAHUT TRANSFER HOGAYA KYA?
For a train accident at ARIYALUR in TN then
railway minister shastry ,resigned.such were the
responsibility levels.the present day ministers
behave like schoolboys,may be
