Karunanidhi is basically a seperatist who does no belift in federal set up.Knowing his color and attitude Then P.M Indra gandhi kept him in his place.Sonia who does not know about India or Indian politics started likcking th shoe of Karuna.KAruna a poisonous snake started its action.This is required for Central goverment and peopole who voted this venomous snake to power and also the fools who are following karuna.
Soon the Supreme court will know who is playing with fire. Let the Supreme power not forget of the sentiments of Tamilnadu people from Hindi agitation to Srilankan Tamil support agitations. The North South divide is being widened by such actions. Since it was the supreme court which ahs stalled the Ayodhaya issue and the present Sethusamudram issue. Our country constitution is %u201CFor the people by the people%u201D This is now become a fight between Moderate Hindus and Blind faith Hindus. No one seems to understand the feelings of 8 crore Tamils and the benefits to follow on completion of Sethu Samudram canal, which will bring economic boom to 50 lakh economically backward people of 7 districts including Ramanathapuram in particular the most backward district of Tamilnadu. It will not bring any benefit to us (Tamilians)
On other hand, The project would pose more grave dangers to our country
Though the Supreme Court had asked TN Govt not to go ahead with the bandh, in most of the places, the DMK functionaries were seen going around the places in auto rikshaws fitted with PA system (on the night of Sunday) announcing about busses not plyin on Monday. This was AFTER the court's order and was captured by many TV channels too. Is this not contempt of court by the TN Govt? What will the Supreme Cort do now? Will the UPA dissociate itself from the DMK and its local allies for this "contempt of court" or will it shamelssly continue the alliance?
Supreme Court did ask the TN Govt to deposit 100 Cr rupees for use in case the bandh is implemented and normal life gets affected. Has it been done? Who will monitor how this money be utilised?
This is the case of the Govt taking its citizens to ransom. Only in India it would happen and after some hue and cry, loss of some lives in the violence, life goes on as if nothing happened. Shame on the part of the Govt, the politicians.
