Mr. Karunanidhi has never been in his aggresive mood - raising against SC - even in cases like Cavery issue, Mullai periyar issues, which are really worth fighting and which are really for a cause. Build bridges and cannals bring in the much needed revenue to the party and associated people and that has been the driveing force for all. Its has gone to such an extend that after tarnishing the God they have already shredded the SC orders (people's order is much important that any order is the argument)!

This is regarding the Tamilnadu bandh. Not withstanding the Supreme Court Orders and the assurance given by the Chief Secretary to the Government of Tamilnadu. the state has come to a virtual standstill and even a cionsiderable part of the commercial community had closed the shutters of their business not because of their faith in the cause, but because of the lack of faith in the enforcement of the orders of the Supreme Court of India by the State Government and its Chief Minister and chief Secretary and also because of their familiar knowledge of the political goodagiri.
The Supreme Court should take suo moto cobgnizance of this and initiate contempt proceedings against the state chief minister and chief secretary and also advise the Union Government to dismiss this unlawful government.
I am no politician and have no sympathy for any of these goonda parties of Tamilnadu be it the Congress or any brand of the spawns of Dravidian movement.We would be better off under the Presidents rule under some IAS officer.
