Slap on UPA govt
by Nikhil on Oct 01, 2007 12:01 PM  Permalink

This is a slap on UPA govt.

The same govt which does not leave a single chance to blaim BJP state govts.

Now it will be interesting to see what Madam Sonia and the puppet PM/President have to say.

What about the same in KERALA

I do not know why the Supreme court is only against TN. Every other day is a bandh in Kerala either by ruling or by any other party/organization. Why so partial to TN? If we go for a President rule based on bandh, Kerala would have been under presidents rule all the time.

Cool brother. If some body goes to court against so called Bandh(s) then only the respective court take action on the basis of arguments. In TN case the opposition AIADMK went to SC for seeking judgment.

Dont blams Karuna alone!
by sri sri on Oct 01, 2007 11:59 AM  Permalink

Its not just the dogheadedness of the DMK and other political classes of Tamilnadu which need to be blamed. Its also another factor - The Bandh date was cleverly selected by DMK inbetween a Sunday and a national holiday on Oct,2nd. So, most people dont mind this and are in fact happy that today is a holiday in disguise! Employees of the government offices are happy to go picnicking! Its only the trading community that's affectd, cos they cant keep their shutters open, for the fear of vandalism by the party workers (read, vested interests!)
