Karunanidhi begins fast; bandh-like situation in TN
by R Balasubramanian on Oct 01, 2007 10:32 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The Supreme Court Order is on slap the face TN CM. Earlier, the other MK (Mohandas Karamchand) fasted for making India free from the clutches of Britishers. The modern MK (M. Karunanidhi) fasts for the rediculous reasons. Actually he should fast till his death. Such kind of politicians r a bane of the nation.

Well said. I fully agree with you. He has never contributed anything to the nation in his whole political career other than being a nuisance and curse on the society.

You bast*rd shut up. I am from north and guess you are a pakistani just trying to create hatered among Indians. We hate Karuna but not tamils. Most of the north Indian even support digging of canal if it is in the benefits of TN or India. Karunanidhi did a great mistake and he will be punished for that by the fellow Indian Tamils in the next election.

NEWTON COPPIED THE LAW OF GRAVITY
by rickylara on Oct 01, 2007 10:31 AM  Permalink

Bhaskaracharya has mentioned about force of attraction resembling gravity, in book titled Sidhanta Shiromani, discovered centuries later by Newton.

In response to the critics of the theory of "spherical earth"["If such were the case, stones would and trees would fall from the earth."], Brahmagupta said..

"On the contrary, if that were the case, the earth would not vie in keeping an even and uniform pace with the minutes of heaven, the pranas of the times. [...] All heavy things are attracted towards the center of the earth. [...] The earth on all its sides is the same; all people on earth stand upright, and all heavy things fall down to the earth by a law of nature, for it is the nature of the earth to attract and to keep things, as it is the nature of water to flow, that of fire to burn, and that of wind to set in motion%u2026 The earth is the only low thing, and seeds always return to it, in whatever direction you may throw them away, and never rise upwards from the earth."

I felt bad when I saw the way he was dragged by the Police during Jayalalitas tenure.

But NOW I FEEL , it was appropriate and he deserves more.

REQUEST TO ALL POLITICIANS, EVERYBODY GO ON A HUNGER STRIKE ( SINCERELY) AND REACH TO GOD AND SAVE US.

Nice one. But these politicians are like cocroaches. They wont die even if you starve them for months. See Mamata Banergee she survived even more than month of hunger strike.

Well said my friend, even I had some sympathy towards the CM,but now it looks like public will loose trust about their policies,as the way the CM is challenging about the history of a religion which is really a shame who being a eminent scholar with huge expertsie in literature & his eminent contribution to Tamil film industry.

Remember in case some individual has commented about some other religion imagine what a uproar would have happened & we need to appreciate the citizens for being calm & polite enough to handle the situation.

Karunanidhi begins fast; bandh-like situation in TN
by prema gurudutt kamath on Oct 01, 2007 10:27 AM  Permalink

When your calculations, expectations get derailed, you develop some murky feelings in your tummy. So, in such situations, politicians practice a 'nirahar vrath' to put back the system to order. Since they are politicians, they take advantage of every act and action.

i feel very shame!!!
by on Oct 01, 2007 10:26 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hai,
I'm a tamilian and i proud of a tamil. also i'm a Adi-dravida (SC). I never accepted the MK's views and the worst tamilan in the world. He's is a nightmare for tamils.

He's one of the worst politician in the india. His only motive is always in CM post. Only the media are supported MK, and boost the image of leader of tamils. I feel very shame.

MK introduce all sort of ugly things in the politics in india since 1970's. All tamils are favour of MK only 20-20% of tamils (his party, All govt employess, all uneducated and unaware minorities).

the golden period of tamil's ends 1967 when kamaraj was not elected by tamils.

But the 90% media's always says he is the leader of tamil. its fake.

Look at the MK's victory only by media and whenever the alternate is not avilable he was elected. He is not a primary (1st) choice of peoples. (execpt the GOVT employees). And his party members are gunda's.

WHY ARE YOU A PROUD TAMILIAN AND DRAVIDA??? SAY YOU ARE A INDIAN FROM TAMILNADU. DO YOU THINK, YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE IN TAMIL WHICH IS NOT IN OTHER LANGUAGES? WHY DO YOU WANT TO DIFFERENTIATE FROM REST?? ESPECIALLY, TAMILS AND BENGALI HAVE TOO MUCH EMPHASIS ON THEIR LANGUAGE.. WHAT HAVE WE ACHIEVED BY PRESERVING DIFFERENT LANGUAGES??

I once stayed in Chennai for a few years. Can't say I liked that place a lot. Quite a lot of discrimination is done on "other people" in terms of language.
Anyways keeping all that aside, I think Karunanidhi is one of the most treacherous among the Indian politicians( if he thinks himself as an Indian, if not then among the Tamil politicians).

See, what he did to his own nephew Dayanidhi Maran for a small Faux Pass. I was really dejected that Karuinanidhi had declared a fast for only one day and not a fast unto death. I do not think there are mny people even in Chennai who would have tried to hold him back from fasting onto death, not even his own son Stalin.

Yes, I fully agree with you. In politics, the winner is not fully supported by all the people of the State. However, the winner is called the leader of this state and what ever is being done by him, has the lable of " People of the State agreed". It is the sad part of a democracy.

So whatever, MK does, need not have support of all the people of Tamilnadu.

However, people like Rmachandra Babu and sudhfsuhsjn are trying to sow the seed of hatredness among the poeple of North and South.

When you feel the elimination of people of MK, equivally you have to eliminate people like Ramachandra Babu and sudhfsuhsjn who are much more dangerous than politicians like MK.

Dear santhil,
Dont take the words of these people by heart. They might be Paki or even from India. But there are a few bas*d always in society. Just ignore them. We north Indian doesnot have any thing against fellow Indian Tamils.
