The PM does not have to ask....it is the job of IB...its a vital input to know the political realities on ground...to focus your intelligence gathering efforts !!! For eg if the report indicates party X is coming...it is easier to predict & therefore plan for any terrorist/insurgency measures.

The readers will recall that prior to the last General Elections, there was another IB report which gave NDA an upper hand. It is now the turn of UPA, and it is also shining. Any chances of a turn around?
If it is true that IB did this survey at the behest of MM Singhs insistance, MMSing should resign for misuse of Governmental Machinery for Party and Political purposes irrespective of the results of the survey.

STOP your B.S. you butt kisser (this is my last post on this subject). First the facts. Surya Prakash, the Consulting Editor of The Pioneer, has documented these in detail. Sonia married Rajiv on 25 February, 1968. Under section 5(c) of the Indian Citizenship Act
she became eligible to register herself as a citizen of India on 25 February, 1973. She chose to continue as a citizen of Italy. She applied for Indian citizenship only ten years later, on 7 April, 1983.

I believe she got her citizenship in 1984 probably after Rajeev was sworn in as PM.Her citizenship in 1983 would have been backdated by authorities. Given their influence in those days it would have been easy to do that.Also till date she has not surrendered her Italian passport. In fact a question to this effect by Kalam forced her to change her plans and apply for Saintship.she has the worst credentials to speak on Gandhi. She tried to grab power in Jharkhand,Bihar and Goa without having the mandate.Every time she fails in her designs her spin masters in media particularly english media tell us that Sonia was very distuebed by by the developments. She has communalised the whole politics of the country. A large number of Christians YSR, Jogi,Oscar, Alva, Faleioro,Ambika Soni,Sushila Karketa, Vidya Stokes are har eyes and ears. V George despite serious charges against him remains the PA. Valson Thampu a known Hindu baiter has recd an important appointment with UNESCO. Indira Gandhi carefully cultivated a secular first family a Parsi, a sikh,a Christian. Today entry to all relatives of Rajeev is banned in Sonia's house. Also the first family is 100% Chritian including Rahul baba's columbian wife.This is what she wants to do to India too.She is perfectly sensible to Muslim and christian sentiments but did not utter a word on sankaracharya's arrest or Ram bashing
