They have seen behind their backs
by uday on Oct 01, 2007 09:10 PM  Permalink

The communists may have looked behind their backs....their performance is a pity in Kerala and a whitewash by the Congress in case of an interim poll is imminent....

In Bengal its similar scenario with the various land issues....

They realise that they may be wiped out in case of seeking an interim ballot....

Therefore they have wisely been advised by Mr. Basu to show restraint and delete their pig headness....

Are they communists or communalists.....whay a pity.....stupid breed....

The Communists are most unreliable of what they talk at a time!
by Gautam nil on Oct 01, 2007 08:37 PM  Permalink

This party is most unreliable one in India under the robes of sincerity! Their formula of inciting people to commit nuisance to the normal life to show protest against the so called wrong decisions! It is shear non sense to obstruct the normalcy to public during the process of the day to day deliberations which will be costly and disturbance!

Sensible Move
by Vijayan on Oct 01, 2007 08:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is a very sensible move by the Communists and essentially initiated by the Bengal CM. We know that Mr. Bhattacharya is the most respectable politian in India today and is giving West Bengal an 'industry friendly' face fit for foreign (including US) investments. Hence he has proved that when time requires he can stand up against his own party to stand by the promises that he has made to the people of Bengal. Keep it up and let this man be an idol for all upcoming politicians and present politicians.

Vijayan, It is about time for the Bengal CM to to accept the fact. China's economic growth due to US investment followed by EU. Truth of the matter is , no matter how commies sliice it,US still the economic super power and enjoys a huge consumer market. Indian Commies dont get it. They live in Mao-Lennin era. Soviet is gone.Communism is dead idelogy. Good to read in the book.

got a hint
by Sanjeev Sharma on Oct 01, 2007 08:32 PM  Permalink

seems like the loonies got a hint of what was written in an IB report made for pm's eyes only.

A severe electoral jolt is staring commies in face if snap polls are held soon.

Hence the softening the stand by traitors.

On which count/item the left patries differ ?
by somshree mukherjee on Oct 01, 2007 08:26 PM  Permalink

The left has not yet cleared what is their objection to the mass. Where they differ? Which aspect of the deal is not in the interest of the nation?

No such deal can ever be all win-win situation. There is nothing called free lunch.

It would be better if Left come out with the most serious objection and educate the mass JANTAthe pros and cons.

N Deal
by keshav kumar on Oct 01, 2007 08:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

PM has gone for a deal that is giving India nothing while US gets control on our Nuke capablity of our defence. We are surrounded by very hostile neighbourhood and hence we need a very strong defence capablity. This deal is thus totally harmful to our defence capabllity and hence needs to be rejected. That it will help Electric power generation is absolute rubbish and nonsense. It is shameful fooling ploy.

keshav kumar , Would like China as our Nuclear partner? Your statement clearly comes out anti-US sentiments. Biggest threat is China. A country like India need strong friends and allies. And above all India is a Democratic nation unlike Pak and China. Your Communist mentality is not going to help India's progress.
