I still cant comprehend how Deve Gowda became PM of this country ..Probably that is the only worst thing that happend to indian people after independence ..He was 3rd class Contractor (not first class also) and could went on to become PM of this great nation ..Shame on all the politicians who helped him in the process..R K Hegde who was intelligent, Statesman, and one of the very few intelligent Politician of The India has to eat the dust because of this Cruel Monster called Deve Gowda ..Can you magine this 3rd class Contractor could manage to amass 10 thousand crores of Property ..He claims himself to be Messaih Farmer and how can the family of any humble farmer can show their legal property to be worth hundred's of crores ..His daughter-in-law even started TV channel ...I think not CBI ( we know its worth) , some shrwed honest agency like FBI can really bust out how this 3rd grade politician can amass so much of money .. SHAME on karnataka people that still harbour such lousy politician and ignore some one like S M krishna who was need of the hour for Great State like Karnataka ..I feel extreamly sorry for S M Krishna ...Shame on so called good politicians like M P prakash who still takes order from such a Cruel dictator .. Soniaji please bring back S M krishna and Save Karnataka from the dirty hands of Monster called DEVE GOWDA and his evil sons .. Feel sorry for BJP also .. VOTE FOR S M KRISHNA OR BJP save karnataka
looks like coalitions are a fact of life in india. that being the reality, it becomes necessary to have a written contract for the parties involved so that things can run smooth. of course, the politicians always think the laws don't apply to them; still a written document will help in governing. the governor or the president must insist on a contract before swearing them in.
Unless we Indians understand the concept of smaller government, I find it difficult to be optimistic about a change in our daily lives.
Think about it, - The government is the biggest employer in the country - The government does NOT make any money, it collects money and then spends it in an un-wisely fashion (I am saying that in a very polite way)
We are still living in this seudo-communist state, where we think government is the solution to all problems. When infact, government is the root of all problems.
I will not blame any government here. It is the nature of the Beast. It is not the right institute to solve our nations problems.
Government will always pander to get votes, because it is a political outfit. We need less government and more private firms.
Private firms run on profits, THE BOTTOM LINE. They have benchmarks They are accountable They have to make profits (Share Holder investment) They are LESS prone to corruption They have leadership that is not pandering to any voting block They encourage competition, eventually to the benefit of the consumer They do NOT have reservations They reward hard work They FIRE lazy people
Agree, private firms cannot do everything. The nations defense, Tax collection, Judiciary and some other functions need to be with the government. Nothing more than that.
A bigger government is a recipie for discrimination, exploitation, corruption and FAILURE.
It should have been a Firmer Stand and should have been taken much earlier. By allowing room to the JD(S), Deve Gowda started playing games. By not doing so, the advantage it would have got otherwise, have been lost.
BJP should not have allowed things to precipitate to this level. Now there is only misgivings in JD(S) for BJP. And this will act against their governance, if they happen to run the government at all, with the present setup.
JD(S) is unpredictable and will definitely withdraw support to BJP led government, sooner than later, if they chose not do so now it-self. The success in the local body election would prompt them to go for it.
But, all said and done, the election is not coming as we think it will, very soon. There is a lead of 6 months within which the election is to take place. BJP will hope it that way. But it will be the Congress Party which will make it happen.
And in the intervening period, it will be PRESIDENT'S RULE. No, there will not be any care taker government. As in that case, Kumaraswamy will sit on the chair, which will not be of Congress' like.
If you have such a mind you will see others through the same prism. Do you have any analysis of the situation? No, you have not read me at all, for, you could have been able to just cite only one paragraph from any of my postings. Yes, I am also seeing you on these lines. And I know you have gone through many of my postings, if not all. And several times we have interacted. But you must have gone through some postings that were critical of the BJP.
I am saying you now, the situation will unfold almost as I am predicting here. I am not supporting BJP for its communal stance. Yes, I am a bit worried with the JD(S) for its going back from it promise. A party having a morally corrupt person as its head would not deliver goods for us.

Keep your crap to yourself. BJP has a govt in Gujarat and it has the highest GDP in India. BJP is the only answer to India's problems. All other parties are highly communal.

ON, Whether it is good or bad for BJP to come to power is secondary. But denying the right in a deceit manner is wrong. It is with BJP's support only Kumaraswamy became the CM. There also, he ditched Congress. A person having no integrity and ethics should not rule us.
Modi and Mayabati are CMs because they got elected with absolute majority. Can we deny them the post? In Andhra, there was Naidu, who did wonders, bringing that state from brink of bankruptcy, to amongst the most developed of all states in the country. And the present CM, is making a plan to take it back to the brink by announcing Rs.2/- a KG rice. It was the very reason that emptied the coffer there. Shall we say him to leave and give the mantle to Naidu?
We have a system to follow, even if it is imperfect. If not there will be a break-down where after it will be difficult to manage things. Yes, the best course will be to improve on the system.
Davegowda and his sons are burden to the great state of KannadaNadu. As Said earlier Gowda pokes his nose into everything. In 1996 he became dummy PM without even thinking why I am getting this post. Such a stupid guy. Gowda and sons are big dram company. They are cheap, dirty, corrupt and violent.

Yes Jan Shakti Chief Jay Prakash Narayan seems to be a non-corrupt politician...he is a IAS officer and a great human being. Resigned his job and joined politics. I think he is a true politician.

As much as I hate the BJP, even in politics, one has to keep one's word. DeveGowda is one sneaky guy. By the way, whats with the Kannadanadu b**ls**t.
This is the classic case of shameles treachery, stabbing at the back and whatever you call. It is shame such mean act is staged by an exPM? Such a mean creature was our PM, feel disgusting to think of that. we can even tolerate politicians switchin loyalties: but it is different, honouring a promise, Now father and son say MLA(JD(S)) are not allowing, what a double talk..

dude 'On' you have every right to caste your opninion but try not to push your idea into everyone's head. Everyone cannot think in your way. People are frustrated, fed-up and exhausted with political games, let it be casteist or terrorism. Our governments have failed and are still failing. Each individual encountered this failure in their own way.
Believe me your frustration is not everyone's frustration.
