Better to Shut Down Courts, Jails, Police Station etc.
by Joy on Nov 27, 2007 12:56 PM  Permalink

There is no point in running courts, jails, police station since it is a mere waste of time, money and energy. The powerful people get bail on any ground. In jails the criminals are provided cigar, wine, girls and cell phone. In police lock up lot of death takes place. Then why we are running and maintaining such bodies. It is better to shut down these department so that we can save lot of cost in maintenance of staff.

Lawyers must save the judiciary
by Ashok Gupta on Nov 27, 2007 12:52 PM  Permalink

The lawyers all over the country must unite and should challenge this bail and question the wisdom of the judges. It seems it is now commit a crime and pay whatever the amount if caught and go scott free - is this what the law says.Shame on these people

bail to Sanjay
by ajay kumar on Nov 27, 2007 12:51 PM  Permalink

whts new in this news.. it has always been the feature.. if u have money, and sources.. u can get away with any crime under sun.
I suggest peoples who support sanjay dutt, to see a movie called "Black Friday", to see how the honest policemen somehow manage to get hold of those who were involved in mumbai blasts... and the agony of the victims.. is beyond the understanding of peoples of this Idol-worshipping country.
Congratulations to supreme court to once again prove that money and power are above all.

A lot depends on how a case is presented, opposed/supported by the state Govt.

Cong rules Maharashtra, and definitely spiked at that level.

corruption, terrorism, crimes, etc. - time for action
by Chanakya on Nov 27, 2007 12:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

what is the use of our barking on this message board? time not for discussion, time is due for action... let young educated generation stand for election, change the face of the parliament, come out with changes in constitution, eradicate corruption, terrorism, smuggling, cross-boarder infilteration etc.
India has enough people loyal, sincere and able administrators who can take on to politics - let the elected educated politicians be paid salary like the CEOs of companies and incentives for every laudable actions they take to safeguard the country and its pupil.

Perspective
by Chrysanthemum on Nov 27, 2007 12:49 PM  Permalink

Its about time some perspective was placed on this issue of celebrities being hounded; seemingly being small fry compared to the politically well connected.
What with mass murderers confessing on the record to have hacked to death dozens of people in the worst carnage in Indian history and no action from our judiciary.
Based on this, the said judgement is only consistent!

bail on what grounds ?
by Ashok Gupta on Nov 27, 2007 12:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It would be interesting to see if the judges who have granted bail acted within purview of the law ? If all along to set him free was the intent then why the sham of a trial and a conviction. Proven once again that the rich and politically connected people will go scott free. After Sanjay it wilbe Salman Khan,Nawab of Pataudi, The Ansals,Mayawati,Jayalalitha, and all politicians and criminals with cash or connexions. Close the law colleges and make politicians the judes and lawyers.

Mr. Ashok
I am not a Law student so i can't comment on the merit of Judgement. But what you are doing is accusing not only the judges but Cheif Justic of India to be currept.Because as far as i know he was siting on the bench for this judgement.

by Ashok Gupta on Nov 27, 2007 01:11 PM  Permalink
A court sentenced him and another court has granted him bail of a crime he is guilty of- thats the fact. Now the question asked is why ? Did the lower court err ? If the Court has granted a criminal bail there has to be grounds for conviction as per law as well as for bail as per law. The lawyers must unite and yes nobody should be above the law nobody.

2. Bombay blast ke liye to justice ki umeed rakhte ho, what about for Mumbai Riots (Mean Bal Thakrey)KE JIMMEDAR LOGON ke liye kya kehna hai. kya unhe nahi jail mein thok dena chaiye.
3. TV par saff saff kehte hai ki meine gujrat dango mein itne logon ko aise aise mara , jinda jala diya, pregnant aurat ka pet fad diya etc. Unke liye saza ki mang nahi karoge.

4. Mr. Kuch din aur ruk jao, ho sakta hai ki kisis sting operation mein yeh pata chale ki godhra train mein bhi aag inhi logon ne kudh lagai thi, kyunki uske baad inhe license mil jayega katle aam karne ka.

Hamesh crip karna hai. kabhi to kisi chiz ko serious liya karo ki hamesh sonia gandhi aur congress ko gaali dete rahoge.
