State Congress suspended Idris Ali, the president of the All India Minority Forum, from primary membership of the party today following Wednesday's violence.
"After a preliminary inquiry, we have decided to suspend Idris Ali who will be issued a showcause notice to explain his position in the context of largescale violence," said West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee working president Pradip Bhattacherjee.

Media is very much upset today. In Rizwanur case CBI stick on suiside theory. They have still now arrested anybody.
CPI(M) supporters has entered Nandigram. Defeating CPI(M) by capturing villages has failed. Peace has been restored.
On 21st Nov in kolkata violence police restrained themshelves. No firing. At lease one or two dead body was needed to start fresh propaganda. Tashlima was shifted quickly. If she was attacked or injured, something could be achieved. That also failed.
So what to do? Now they are making bead and butter on this, till some fresh food avilable.
Gone are the times when we thought that religion brings peace and broutherhood ,it binds society. Today, its not Dharmik Samaj but Dharmandhta (Blind following ) which prevails in the society and coupled with communal politics it is leading to detirioration of basic human values

Islam must introspect as all other relegions continue to do. It must reconsider the hardline Wahabism and Deobandism. On the other hand it has philosophical gems in the teachings of Al Hallaj and Rumi.

you can not specify the time of hinduism. hinduism is not a religion at all. The name is given by mughals. there is no language for hindus. Hindus say vedas and upanishads are there scriptures. in what language these scriptures written? do they know? they samkrutham. how many of them know samskrutham? is there script for samskrutham? NO. they say written in Devanagri. when Devenagri evolved? during 6th century. Is there any great men or historian told there was a reiligion called hinduism was existing? NO. Has Geetha mentioned about hindu? NO. has ramayana mentioned about hindu? NO. Then what is hinduism

You are true, hinduism is not religion but its amazing script made by last 10000 yrs and found this theory of hinduism. It has everything in it. Infact your Islam is based on manusmruti
It is sad to see that BJP is sheltering Taslima who has outraged the modesty of a particular community. If they were so genuine why didnt they gave shelter in Rajasthan? CPM led West Bengal govt is more clear in its intention on this issue i.e To restore peace and its secular credential.

You are angry with BJP for first sheltering har and then not sheltering her enough. Your problem is an obsessive compulsive hatred for BJP.You will criticize it any which way even if it means contradicting your ownself in the very second line.
I have seen this interview by Seetaram Yechuri, where he was non chalant and busy enjoying some stuff in his mouth. It was clear form his body language that CPIM is happy after shifting media lime light from Nandigram to Taslima.
Yechuris blatant lie is outrageous. His Boss in West Bengal-Biman Bose said Taslima should leave WB. Within 24hrs she was hounded out by the police and sent to Jaipur. She didn't even know where she was taken to. This is the same party that raises a bogie every where in the country in the name of secularism and fundamental rights! Look at the audacity of these guys to blame others for their own sins.

your point seems to be valid. Taslima is India for more than three months. why suddenly the problem should come? Fantastic politics. for a long time there was nothing. now the water is diverted from nandigram field to taslima field. taslima you be here and save our politicians. Ruling party and opposition party will protect you.

Taslima Nasreen issue has been raked up deliberately to sideline the Marxist maraudery in Nandigram.All of a sudden an unknown group calls Bandh, Tasleema is ordered to move out of the city and all Delhi based Eng news channels already sounded out forget Nandigram to focus on Tasleema.
