i doubt the intention of BJP by asking for a citizen ship to talseema, purely because she wrote against ISLAM? and purely becasue Indian Muslims did shown their non acceptance to her views?

The Muslim appeasement of pseudo secular parties is creating serious security threat to the nation. More than half of the population of Mushidabad district in West Bengal is BANGADESH MUSLIMS. They have acquired passports and ration cards and voter identity cards, courtesy Left font. The same left parivar is now asking Taslima to leave the country. Unfortunately, instead of fighting this political myopia of Left Parivar, most Bengalis are leaving the states. Those who can't afford to leave are silently suffering in their own mother land.
In Assam, Bangladesh Muslims have even started their own political party, thanks to the appeasement policy of Congress party. Very soon, Assam and other north east states are going to become like J&K. All this because continued ignorance of Hindus, who fail to see threat to their existence in their own country.
I'm really aghast at the Hindu apathy and ignorance on the need for political unity for their own safety. May be we have to be face the same fate Jews faced in the early 20th century to realize the value of nation and securing territorial and cultural security

Hindus were 15 percent of the populaiton in 1970s. Now reduced to 04 percent or less. Most of them are kiled or forcibly converted in to Islam. I visited Dakeswari temple in Dhaka (named after Dakeswari) first time in 1994. This is the most important temple for Hindus in Bengal.It was a big temple then with lot of space. By 2001 all that space if occupied now,approach to the temple made very difficult. Hindus who go to the temple are teased by way siders and as a result Hindu woman stopped going there. After Babri (not even a mosque) structure demolished, thousands of small and big temples were demoslished in Bangladesh. As we still cry over Babri here, temples are demolished every day in Bangladesh and Pakisthan. Taslima is targeted mainly for highlighting the plight of Hindus. See what happend to her?
Its time pseudo secularists are shouted down to assert the rights for all but not just for minorities.
Biman bose, Jyothi Basu, Karats & Yecguri are rabid communalists. They are the same guy who criticized the High Court for ordering compensation to Nandigram victims. It is clear that the arrogant Left Parivar care nothing about the constitution, judiciary and democracy. All that they want is power. They swing easily from communism to communalism with extraordinary ease.
They roared against civil nuclear agreement with the US. They did a rapid climb down and now meowing around CONGRESS for the fear of losing power in West Bengal. They know that if at all president rule is imposed in WB all the skeletons will be out form the cup board.
Taslima was attacked by Islamic extremists in Hyderabad-but no action taken. Same elements again resorted to Vandalism in Kolkata against Taslima, but media is kind to them. Imagine if it had happened in Gujarat. The media will project Gujarat like Iraq and Afghanistan and keep crying over it for the next five years.

There is a lot of talk on MF Hussain. Lets have the facts clear: MF Hussian has left the country for greener pastures. He hasn't been hounded out. No body stopping him to return. He can come here, sell his paintings and make movies. Where as Taslima cant even step in Bangla Desh-now India also it seems.
Hindu fundamental groups attacked his exhibitions, but never attacked him physically. Taslima will be eliminated in Bangladesh. She was physically attacked by Majlis Legislatures in Hyderabad-but o action taken.
There is no comparison between Taslima & MF Hussain.

I think, those who think Taslima and Rushdie have written something wrong about Islam, they should come forward and counteract their writings by scholarly writings, Logical and rational debates or historical facts.

However that will never happen, as Islam does not allow any logical thinking, introspection or democratic values. That is why, its largely practised by headless chickens.
