I am being honest when I say that I did not know of any hatred based on religious distinctions till 1992. Then it dawned on me and so many other young ppl in India the meaning of religion and why they have to hate other communities. Then the years after 1992 have been filled with terror and atrocities. India was more or less a peaceful country with perhaps a few stray incidents here and there, till this communal party sowed hatred and took the naive people of India for a ride by sowing insecurity about our religion in their hearts. A pity that they were successful partly going by the posts here. But the saving grace is that I and some of my ilk have seen through their ugly and cowardly agenda. I hope that more ppl are bestowed with the faculty of distinguishing between good and evil. We were a peaceful nation with people of all religions existing happily. Let us be that way, and tell the world with pride that India is sucha diverse nation, yet united. Let's put a stop to the saffron mafia's diabolic intentions. Jai Hind!

Mr.Contractor greetings to you! Your expressions are sober; but are they balanced? This country was partitioned based on religion, which was followed by a holocaust, in which the Hindus suffered the most. Though the scar of partition is there in every Hindu's psyche, they accept the Muslim commmunity with an equanimity in the independent Bharath. The basic ethos of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are of Hindu in origin. After all the Muslims of the subcontinent were Hindus at some part of the ancestral time; but because one changes his religion willingly or otherwise, one does not have to become an enemy of one's motherland. Or else how can one explain the rape and assault of Hindu women, children and men in Kashmir and the mass exodus of about a million of them out of Kashmir to other parts of India in October 1989. Mr.Contractor you know 1989 is 3 yrs before 1992! It is not the question of who started 'it' first. Let all the muslims of India accept their motherland first and their God the next, there will be no problem. Let them not pander to the political parties like the shameful Congress. Please do not hold a brief for the Muslims. Hindus are not diabolical mafias. After all Dr.Ambedkar had written in a classic, before the partition that "the Muslims are bullies and barbarians". there r many in rediff forum posting same messages since last one month. using different names/id but the same person. they r paid employees either of congress or of pak isi spitting venom in india.
either way its the same thing whether congress or isi agent, both are two sides of the same coin.
WHETHER IT IS NUKE DEAL, OR NANDI GRAM UPA IS MOST SHAMEFUL ALLIANCE RULING INDIA. CONGRESS ZEROED NUKE DEAL PROBLEMS WITH LEFT BY ZEORING NANDIGRAM ISSUE. HOW SHAMEFUL ALLIANCE IT IS YOU WILL UNDERSTAND. THE MOMENT NANDIGRAM BROKE OUT, LEFT COOL DOWN ITS STAND ON NUKE DEAL. People who have committed crimes against unarmed civilians in eastern Europe have been tried in the International Court of Justice and sentenced. Modi's crime is also of the same nature and scale. The Gujrath carnage is a clear indication of the failure of state machinery to protect unarmed civilians. Nobody need expose BJP; the very comments apperaring in its favour on rediff is a clear indication of an emerging fascist force that will do anything to further its agenda of religious fundamentalism. India is adrift ideologically. Only a strong leader like Nehru/Sardar Patel can stem this tide of increasing communalisation of polity and politics. At the ground level the saffron activists are lumpen elements; at the top are pseudo intellectuals -- a lethal combination as far as minorities are concerned. One only hopes that the Supreme Court steps in to uphold the rule of law by punishing the guilty, be they ever so highly placed. We are living in a globalised world and the consequences of that are inescapable. Eventually Modi will stand trial when international pressure builds up. The US denial of visa was a small step in the right direction. One admires the courage of Tehelka and Teesta Setelvad in times like this to risk their life and reputation in defence of the truth

rightly said.santhosh. they will not target buddhadeb for officially making this statement as murderer. bcoz he is not from bjp and above all he is not modi. modi will b targeted by media as murderer. this is the biased reporting of media and uneducated muslims r being fooled by them n congress.
