I think Karunanidhi should step in and declare that there was no prophet and hence all of this hoopla over Tasleema is meaningless. This is easiest way to resolve this problem. But that coward and hypocrat is nowhere to be seen!
You are wrong Mr. "Slave" Singhvi. Dalai Lama and Tasleema cases are TOTALLY different. Tasleema DIDN'T write or speak against a sovereign country but Dalai Lama does. Tasleema's writings has nothing to do with relations with other country. Of course, her writing is not convenient for you and your parties appeasement of muslims. And yes, her situation completely exposes your so called secularism. You and your party and people like you are fully exposed here (yes, I'm talking about likes of Shabana Azmi and Mahesh Bhat)
These are the same guys who cried for the release of Afzal Guru-convicted for the crime of attack on parliament. Today they are baying for the blood of Taslima-whats her crime? She just wrote a critical book on Islam. She is chased out of West Bengal-because the spine less Bengal government said that it can't protect her!!! Why shouldn't this government be dismissed? Where PIL Specialists have have gone? Are they still busy digging out creative case studies form Gujarat carnage?
What we are seeing today is the demonstration of the ugly face of vote bank politics. It is time for the voters belonging to all religions and castes to stop this at once for the sake of efficient and responsible governance

tasleema should go through quran and understands the rights given by islam to women.IT gives right for a daghter to have share in fathers property IT gives right to achieve education at any level but with discipline i mean a girl has to cover her body neatly for her own goodness why dont these people who shout against islam go to countries like TURKEY,BOSNIA ,ALBANIA (EUROPE)TAJHIKISTAN,TURKMENISTAN,AZERBHAIJAN,CHECHNYA,UKRAINE(50%MOSLEMS)MALAYSIA AND SEE FOR THEMSELVES

Read the Koran first. It describes how Mohammed captured women and gave them to his followers to be raped. We all know what Islam is about.
Also, if men can have 4 wives why cannot women have 4 husbands? Why does Islam prohibit equality?
Regarding burkhas, why do women have to wear it? Why don't men wear it also? Where is the equality?
What happens to Islamic women in heaven? Are they provided to terrorist men (who have killed kafirs i.e. Hindus, etc) as virgins?

It's certain that Mr Singhvi or Congress(I) leaders do not have time for TV or newspapers. They are probably too busy wooing the Leftists or a few special people. Suddenly, they have woke up - what's happening? Are they going to lose votes to BJP? Great show, indeed!
If the Centre is so ignorant that the facts repeatedly being shown live on Media failed to catch attention, then how one can expect this govt. to challenge the terrorists, who normally operate secretly.
Anyway that shows how vigilant and responsible government we have at centre.
