All the other parties and specially the congress is saying that Modi is a dictator? But look at the number of year he has been the CM of the state (total of 6 years)? And now look at the Nehru family (the real dynasty or dictatorship) who has ruled india for more than 40 years...and still wants more and more power by getting Rahul involved in politcs they are trying their best to make sure that India is ruled by only one family (The Nehru family). I say "the Nehru family" because the name "Gandhi" was not their real last name but was changed from Nehru to Gandhi.

But some NGOs working for Gujarat riot victims deny the existence of these new colonies. They insist that about 20,000 people are still confined to cramped relief camps all over Gujarat. NDTV visited some of these so-called relief camps across four districts and discovered many had proper houses with basic amenities like electricity and water. Critics claim it is in the interest of some NGOs to paint a grim picture to stay in business. But there is worse.
Some riot victims like Zabeerbhai Shaikh in Panchmahals say a local NGO took a bribe to allot a house. The NGO was not willing to respond to the allegation on camera. ''Whatever little we had got from the government as compensation, we had to pay to the local NGOs. We paid Rs 15,000 for this new one-room house. We have lost everything. The NGOs claim to be working for us but they have taken away all our money,'' said Zabeerbhai Shaikh, riot victim, Panchmahals.
A few days ago, NGOs working for the cause of Gujarat riot victims urged the Election Commission to include these victims in the voters' list, saying they are still living in relief camps. But NDTV visited many new colonies which had proper houses and many of residents' names had indeed been included on the voter's list.
Wonder why Tehelka or Teesta Setalvad does not probe such NGOs? Does it suit their interests not to do so? Or are they also getting a cut from today's cottage industry of cashing in on illiterate Muslims? Why is Congress silent on this?

NGOs cash in on riot victims' misery
Sunday, December 2, 2007 (Himmatnagar) They are called non-profit organizations but not all of them really work for non-profit. When the Gujarat riots took place, many NGOs sprung up overnight, supposedly to help riot victims. But five years on, many who were forced to relocate, say the NGOs have been of no help. Some even allege it remains in the interest of NGOs to paint a grim reality even if things are getting better to further their cause.
Akhtar Ahmed, from Sardarpura in Mehsana, one of the worst hit districts of the 2002 riots, shifted to a new housing complex in Himmatnagar in Sarbarkantha miles away from his village. Akthar's business as a signboard painter has now picked up and his small family is full of hope for the future. ''We are settled in this place. We have got a house to stay. We don't want to go back to Sardarpura. I am earning over Rs 3000 a month. It's comfortable to run my family,'' said Akhtar Ahmed, riot victim, Sabarkantha district.
''They were earlier living in the relief camps. Now all the survivors of Sardarpur carnage live in newly-constructed houses at Satnagar. Relief camps were dismantled long ago,'' said S K Khadeem, District Head, Citizens for Justice & Peace.

All bullshit.Its time Hindus show BJP that they have seen their dirty linens and no longer need them. Whether Gujarat or elsewhere. BJP will fall NOT because of Muslims or Congress. Its a matter of perspective..they might be making money but the goverment has no buisness being in areas other than education and defense..maybe a couple areas here and there. The focus of a goverment should be on governance...and the reason these PSUs do well is because of huge govermental favor and subsidaries and prefrences, which kills competetion.
And if the PSUs were sold it would have bought it a great deal of cash.
Don't do useless propaganda.
Btw how does common civil code benefit you?
Its stands to benefit only the muslims(they dont realise it being caught in their primituive religious ideology, just as hindutva proponents)..but eventually them muslims have to decide this on their own, the secularists should push for common civil code, but since it harms no one else let the muslim community become enlightened enough to be able to accept it.

theres a way and a time to do everything. The most imporatnt thing to do right now is to ensure an active debate within muslim community, provide them witha better standard of living, and education..which all goverments fail to do.
It is a clear fact that only that region develops at best pace in which people live with peace and a feeling of security in themselves but in gujarat both this things are not available because one man in gujarat is not allowing it to happen. People here in the state have no faith in each other as Goverement is spreading feeling of hatred amongst them as they are not allowing all the religions to come togather.
