Look at Britain. Even with Iran's fatwa on Rushdie, they not only treated him well but protected his life. And on other hand, after some shouting by jihadis, our legs start shaking. We can not become superpower this way. Govt needs to demonstrate that it will not change its decisions based on some demonstrations; i hope our politicians fear less for their khursi and think about our nation before it's too late.

I am not supporting her. If India had decided not to give her visa in the first place, that would have been okay. But once a decision has been taken, it should not be changed by some stone pelting or acts of vandalism. We need to be that mature and strong.

It requires a Communistic minded historian to write in a way that is liked by islamists. And that is not necessarily the truth.
Irrespective of what any communist may write, it is true that in India today, it is the islamists that are creating terror and killing innocent people. It is also true that the Govt is not taking stringent action fearing a political and electoral back lash from this community.

I have read the article. It means nothing to the events that are being orchestrated by Islamic militants in India and else where. If the back ground of Islam is so glorious, why is the need for resorting to terrorism? How do you justify terrorism with your arguments on mathematics?
Further more, the article clearly states that the texts in Greek and Sanskrit were used. So this article, if any, is actually a credit to Indian Mathematics!
