Both Majority communalism and minority communalism are equally condemned.

Both Majority communalism and minority communalism are equally condemned.

In Kerala, Christian Politician like K.M. Mani, Some of Christian Fathers and Bishops, Congress leaders like Ramesh Chennithala, Opposition leader Oommen Chandi, RSS, Nair Service Society (NSS) etc. with the support of media are joined under an umbrella to oppose the Left Front government.

In West Bengal, all the communal leaders of Muslim League, SIMI, Jamaat-e-Islami, BUPC, RSS & BJP, Congress, Maoists, SUCI, CPI(ML) with the help of media are trying to eliminate the Left base.

blame it purely on sickular media
and not merely on the religious fanatics who are brainwashed by vested interests including pseudo-secular parties.
there is one article 2 days back (in small corner of one newspaper) that one muslim family is forcibly evicted from their home inspite of they being staying there for the last 3 years, and are being harassed, (bcoz they dont want muslims to stay in their locality) this happened in a place called nasik, in maharashtra ruled by sickular media's favourite party congress.
nothing happens neither for safety of the family nor abt the news.
imagine had the same incident happened in modi's gujarat, all the ppl like mahesh bhatts, aamir khans, teesta setalvads, ngos, lallus, cpms, etc. including media wud hv jumped to the highest level and showed that state is worse than afghanistan.

Each and every communal leaders join under an umbrella to frighten poor people. Whether it is SIMI / RSS / Maoists. All Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs or any other religion or all castes must be united this time.

Well, if HInduism has castes, you Christians and Muslims have hatred of non-believers and condem them to hell. Both of you commit genocides against humanity (Red Indians, Slavery of Blacks, forcing Jews to live in Ghettors). Then you have blood sect warfare: Shias killing Sunnis, Protestants killing Catholics.

Hindu caste system seems totally harmless compared to bloody wars between Christianity and Islam (Crusades and Jihads).

Hinduism is the only way for humanity.

Well. Partiality in christianity and islam are made by their followers not by concept of religion..where in hinduism, everything is written in Vedhas..

Recently lower cast hidu has been forced to shit by upper cast hindus..Gr8 humanity..

Mr EHTISHAM:
Hinduism has a long tradition of tolerance, peaceful contemplation and assimilation which is why Hindus are able to DISAGREE WITH KARUNANIDHI PEACEFULLY. They know that Karunanidhi cannot destroy their belief in the divine. ISLAMISTS on the other hand have HIJACKED ISLAM. They are VERY VERY INSECURE. Any time even if there is slightest criticism or disagreement from someone in their community, they don't think twice before issuing HEINOUS FATWAS. Deep down such Islamists are afraid of democracy, freedom of speech and secularism.

Give her shelter
by dev singh on Nov 24, 2007 12:33 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If India can give shelter to high profile refugees like Sonia Gandhi, Biman Bose and Jyoti Basu (Former CM) then why not give citizenship to Ms. Nasreen. If the enuchs running the govt. at the center and in WB does not have courage then they can request Mr. Narendar Modi to help them out. None of the jehadis has the guts to enter gujrat again.

I have read the book Lajja, written by Taslima. This speaks about a true incident in Bangladesh. It speaks how Hindus are tortured, killed, their girls are kidnapped, raped and forcefully married to muslims.

Definitely muslims would like to hide these truths. This is why they show their anger on Taslima.

I don't understand why every one generalises every thing. Please complete the sentenses with phrases like "Some fundamental muslims in bangladesh kidnapped, raped and married hindu girls to some down-rate muslims". Politically correct statements will save a lot of pain and life.

Islam religion - scared of some books and authors??
by RKrishna on Nov 24, 2007 12:07 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

First of all, I pity the plight of Taslima and I just wonder why she wants to stay in INDIA and it is better for her if she try WEST just like Mr. Rushdie did.

I just wonder whether it is ISLAM or muslims (who practice ISLAM) is scared of some books and writers?? Is this religion really that fragile??

Attacking her physically and now asking her to leave the country, are we really practicing FREEDOM OF SPEECH in INDIA??

The FREEDOM OF SPEECH IN INDIA applies only to Syed Shahabuddin (who openly declares that he supports Pakistan against India), Imam Bukhari (who openly challenges delhi police to arrest him if they can) and M F Hussain who paints nude Hindu Goddesses while Communist and congress' twin fathered mo fo's stand with flags in his support.
