Deva gowda has only one principle in life - he and his family should prosper at the cost of anything else in the world.He is such a good family man! India had the ill fate of having this man as the PM for sometime (and, he was sleeping all the time when he was the PM).Now, for the rest of his life time, he gets Govt pension and last but not the least, upon his death, a state funeral with full honours! At the cost of the tax payers' money.. and, at that time, all other so called leaders who will be alive then will shower praise on this "elderly statesman". What a life for this GOwDa..
The priority for the people is to give the boot to self-appointed leaders like Deve Gowda. Their main interest is to promote their own self-interests and those of their family and clan. He is a typical tribal chief and has not an iota of democracy in his blood. You would think he would be ashamed to openly go back on his promises and commitments only to prevent other parties/leaders to assume power thus safegurding it for himself or his family.
As long as tribal loyalties reign supreme there is little chance for genuine democracy to strike roots and flourish in India. The present political system and its corrupt culture only ensures inefficient and wasteful development. The electorate will have to pay lot more attention to issues and their solutions rather than be deferential to caste and creed.
Karnatakans must wake up and act in their own combined interest if they have to build on the reputation that the State, especially Bangalore, has earned for its creativity and enterprise inspite of Deve Gowda.
all the BJP chaddi supporters here....BJP = ideal party? its the least ideal party....after all the drama in October it was again ready to shake hands with JD(S) for power...who asked it to share power? Compare that to Congress who said No inspite of Gowada going to Delhi in Oct.
BJP is a power-hungry party and since it shared govt in karnataka, there have been never before seen riots in Bangalore. BJP is shame of India. Its the worst form of any organization. Hope it gets dead and buried after a resounding defeat in Gujarat.
BTW i am a Hindu Brahmin so don't play the stupid card that i am a Paki or a Muslim, alright?????

Don't know how u got info that there were riots in Bengaluru in the last 6 months, but sure there have been riots of various kinds in Cong- ruled AP, MH and CPM's WB, in the same period. Cong is not principled because it took JDs support despite losing election (it was an anti-Cong mandate in KN), but BJP certainly lacks the engineering skills of CongI to twist mandates. Deve G was no less of an opportunist when Dharam Singh was ruling?!
