by vivek nair on Nov 19, 2007 08:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

For the better future of India & to avoid these type of situation, please vote only for BJP or CONGRESS. These regional parties and left parties are one interested in money. They never think about out country. Two party system is good for India.

Even i doubt CPI(M) got money from America to support for Nuclear deal

Worst political state in India is Karnataka after Gujarat
by akan on Nov 19, 2007 08:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

by akan on Nov 19, 2007 08:21 PM | Hide replies

This is the worst politics in Indian history. These karnataka politicians do all kind of non-sense things like this.

Even for the natural death of an actor(like jokr) they killed public, police and burn public/private properties, busses, etc.

Its all because of politicians and few violant kannada organizations. They do these all kind of provocations.

But as such people are so kind and good. They should not let neither BJP or JDS to become power, but congress.

Yeddy already told Gujarat like development, that means more violance and killings of innocent people. That will spoil the name of kannadigas, karnataka and kannada.

This proves that Greedy Gowda & sons entered coalition to enjoy power and pelf rather than for governance.
by S S on Nov 19, 2007 08:19 PM  Permalink

Moral and ethical responsibility demands JD(S) to honour the pact agreed upon 20 months ago with the BJP in Karnataka and hand over power on October 3. As far as party supremo H D Deve Gowda is concerned, it is unbecoming of a former prime minister to stoop so low as to disregard commitment of his own ideology and bringing discredit to the party as a whole. Him and his two sons have more foes than friends. In order to have firm control and supremacy over state politics, the family coterie is distancing itself with all and sundry. The running battle with NICE company which is doing the BMIC project is a good example of this.
Gowda (oue Ex-PM if people have forgotten) should realise that giving due chance to those with whose support they are running the government for more than 20 months is an essential element in coalition dharma. Does this proove that politics is a dirty profession (incl prostitution) than anything you can dream off.

Rightly said, India needs a modified constitution. Again these thugs should vote for change in constitution. These thugs now enjoying all sorts of luxury and money. If modifed general public will benefit. these thugs will never allow this to happen. Only thing is unless these thugs realize. Nothing is going to change.

do u think that these thugs will help to change the system. govt. today is failed to do any of its job. today govt. can't provide electricity, water, good hospitals, infrastructure, job oppartunities etc. than i don't know why we need the govt. itself. they just want to provide license to run public aminities (like airport, hi-ways etc.) to pvt. organizations so that they can make money (and these thugs can have commision).

to me there is no future in India, now even god can't help india and its people.

Good For BJP
by SS Prasad on Nov 19, 2007 08:07 PM  Permalink

This is a good develpoment for BJP. Had they continued with all conditions and humiliation heeped by Gowdas they would have even lost their own supporters sympathy. DEvegowda is a known devil and he has always saw his raise only on betrayal. His endless list of victims .... Respected Ramakrishna Hegde, J H Patil, Siddramiah and now poor Yediyurappa. But I congratulate BJP and Yeddiyurappa thogh they should not have gone for the Govt formation in the first place. What to do? Power is so attractive.
My sympathies are with Kumaraswamy. He was creating a good image for himself and lost every thing just by going with his Father's decision. In a way he also join the victim list of Devegowda.
In a way we as a voters are responsible for this mess. We, Voters should next time clealy exercise our franchise either in favour of Cong or BJP. Gowda (Read Deve before) needs to be told by voters in a clear term that we can not be taken for granted and he can not distort the madate just to suit his family welfare and wishes.

SM Krishna or Siddaramiah can be a better leader if Cong comes to power. But not sure other leaders in Cong will allow them and gain the decisison will be taken by Sonia or the much promoted Raghul who have become leader by chance not by their leadership qualities.

But let us be hopeful that a good governance is a possibilty if Cong or BJP comes to power. TODAY the voter atleast have a clear choice on who should never come back to power. Obviously it is JDS lead

What was expected that is done by JD S.Mr HDD was hungry of power once & he acquired the PM seat anyhow. The Son will do anything different? BJP did the right thing. The hungry of power shown by JD S is really shameful. They are such BESHARAM people who have forgotten the agreement while acquiring the power for first term.HDD Party should be kept away. They are most unreliable people on the earth.

come on kannadas... you need to make up your mind
by Abhishek Banerjee on Nov 19, 2007 08:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What is this new culture of making up your mind in two stages.. kannadas gave 18 MPs/26 to BJP but only 79 MLAs. The confusion in the mind of the voter is reflected in the chaos in the corridors of power. You got what you asked for. There will be elections soon. Do what the people of Bihar did... they got it right the second time. Do what the people of UP did, they decided on ONE party. An election is coming to your neighbourhood. You dont have to vote for a 1000 year old party that considers our nation its family property. You dont have to vote for a party whose patriarch wants to divide up the "kingdom" of karnataka among his sons. Vote for the party that is led by a man who rose from the grassroots by fighting for the rights of his people.

Take a break from congress for a while and look for a party who is working towards the well fare of the citizen. Cong being in power for all the while but have been the result and BJP being the party in power for 5 years have done the require changes. Just think of Congress with word "Gandhi" and evaluate for the work they have done so far.....
