Now the tension between MUSLIM and HINDUS occur not because of Politicians, but the way they LIVE-IN SECLUDED CLUSTERS and not MIXING with others SOCIALLY NEED TO WORK ON THIS.

hi comrade,got annoyed as the article has proved to be an eye opener.Even the intellectuals who are shouting against the government may desist from exercising their franchise in the next election but they will never vote for mamata or congress.They have witnessed seventy's turmoil and finding an uncany similarity with the present scenario. TMC is not innocent either but the cadres and hired goons can't be a replacement for the crpf or state police.You cannot run a parrallel administration with the help of cadres.Police is always under the pressure of the party to act as per their wish.Police and party have now become synonymous.You people must realise that the oppossition's share of electorate is around 49%. But Buddhadeb Bhattacharya is atleast trying to achieve something constructive for bengal which was absent during Jyoti Basu's rule.But he needs to adopt the right method and provide the people with the right compensation Tommorrow if haldia becomes an industrial hub like ahmedabad or baroda you will find these people from nangigram willingly offering their land for setting up chemical hub Its already late and we don't have any alternative. How come a party which closed so many industries by creating different UNIONS, HARTAL, BANDH etc is now supporting Industrialists, SEZ and Punjibaadi now.
Is there any huge amount of cash flow going on there? After all the UNION leaders are also human being and they want to be rich.
Writer is hell bent on showing similarity between Godhra and Nandigram .. which are 2 differene things. ( needless to say, any violence is bad and all riots can be shown the same .. mutiple riots taken place in India after independance) .. CPM cadres did this with just one objective -- to teach a lesson to villagers and maintain their hegemony by brute force (which is what Communists do anywhere in the world !!).. To blame RSS for any and every incident shows gross ignorance on writer's part .. any hindu reaction by default goes back to RSS.. If RSS had been a violent organisation (like CPM.. commies), this country would be a very different one !!

I totally agree with you. i don't understand why hindu fundamentalism has always been associated with RSS by media. if you really want to find out the truth about RSS, why don't you join one SHAKHA and see for yourself what they teach in RSS. RSS never taught hatred, it is a Hindu organization and by Hindu, i dont mean Hindu by birth, go back to Supreme Court's definition of Hinduism. Hinduism is not a religion, it is a culture.
The BJP has failed in every field. The UPA is the best alternative.
1. During Congress rule in India, there were many riots (also Congress sponsered anti-sikh riots), but no one could ask (particularly the communists) congress on this, they could successfully hide it. But BJP could not hide even a single riot.
2. Congress and communist leaders are millionaire leaders. They have bank accounts in Swiss Bank. How many BJP leaders have account in Swiss Bank?
3. During Congress rule, India was defeated by China and communists supported China. But this could be successfully hidden. But BJP is still humiliated for Kargil war.
4. Communists could kill civilians using the Goverment machinery in Singur and Nandigram. Imaging if the Rizwanur murder case had happened in Gujurat, then Teesta, Shabana would have lead a nationwide protest. But Communists could successfully suppres this. BJP even could not hide the Sohrabuddin murder case.
5. Congress supported the terrorism in Sri Lanka and Punjab by supporitng the LTTE and Bhinderenwala's force. How many terrorism were supported by BJP?
6. Communists allowed the Bangladeshi muslim immigrants to settle in the border districts of Bengal and eventually converted them to their vote banks. How many illegal immigrants the BJP supported?
BJP has failed in every way. Their leaders get nervous to attend the interviews. They dont know how to pay the media to suppress the news.
