Let us follow the path of Mahatma Gandhi. This is the only option available to make India successful. Let us forget our religions & be proud as Indians.

Well said yaar.
Also get ready to facilitate the massacre of another one million hindus in the name of tolerance. Import all muslim dictators to india to teach hindus a lesson also.
By this time hindus must get ready with nuclear arms to clear the sick masses of jihadist mentality

Apples to Oranges
by Libran on Nov 18, 2007 12:25 PM  Permalink

Comparing Gujrath with Nandigram is far stretched and seems like comparison of Apples to Oranges.
Author says pre-cursor events are similar - Burning of 57 people and throeing out CPM workers by Maoists. They are as different as chalk and cheese. The former was from anti-national jihadists who were completely in opposition to the party in power and center. In the latter case of Maoists, they are of the same feather and principle as Marxists. Marxists are the utmost defenders of Naxalites every state in the country - when a Naxal is killed in an encounter they protest loudly - In Andhra and Karnataka. When Naxals kill hundreds of self-defense groups of villagers as well as aam0Junta watching village stage-plays, Marxists and their 'human rights' people just keep quiet. Both look to China for guidance. Naxals and Maoists have acted fantastically in this real-life play called Nandigram mess to match the well orchastrated direction by Chinese. Both will get great - blood soaked red certificates later from chinese.
Now tell me how is Godhra and Nandhigram are similar? The author must be a nut sponsored by Congress to kill two birds in one shot. Just wait congress, you will pay for your Karma-YOu have already got the pre-cursor from pak now!!

Red Taliban
by Lucky B on Nov 18, 2007 10:32 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Gujarat with Nadigrams is an idiotic comparison. If you want to show yourslef secular then first thing you need to abuse BJP and anything associated with Hindus.

Why don't you compare Nandigram with Thianman square or killing of Hindus during Muslim rule.
How British hanged Indians on trees after 1857.

But intellectually blind people like you don't want to be right for your own gain.

Absolutely right Lucky. These so called intellectuals are power centric and eyes on so called minorities' votes. So called minorities, because can a 25-30% population of a country be called minority? All this is disgusting, where we are heading to? No political will to change the system will erode the true potential of indian future. Why Nandigram is being ignored by Central politics and all hue and cry over Gujrat, just because Gujrat is being run by BJP and WB by these secularists. They can seek support of BJP for passing Nuke deal, but very next moment criticise them. Why they didnot consult BJP why finalising the deal? Why they are afraid in taking actions / or order an inquiry by sitting Supreme court judge or CBI in Nandigram, to bring forward the truth? This is dirty politics with lack of will and without any consideration for our country. Shame on these politicians and the governments.

Yellow journalism
by Rohan Chopra on Nov 18, 2007 08:38 AM  Permalink

The media is f!@#ing stupid. This is all yellow journalism. The media shows what sells, not what is happening. People are getting killed and all they care about is the richest indians and the sensex. Is this what we dreamed of guys? Are these the principles on which our nations stands now. They say india is progressing at such a fast rate but isn't this a digression into the past. think over it.

Trashiest article....

What happened in Godhra and Gujarat was wrong. I don't understand what the author is achieving by this meaningless comparison of WB and Gujarat. Is this bangla babu too scared of talking about reality in WB as it is?

Problem is deeper than WB, look NEPAL, they believe in
1914-REVOLUTION,ARM STRUGLE,Unless we tackle them on their basic tenant, this kind of things will continue on and off.

We as nation need to think it through at deeper level
work with dispossed as National Policy, Educate, Integrate, Need Politically astute national civic forum
or foundation to address these issues, not after it happens.

This article is no help in going into that depth. It is Lumping unrelated issues, pin pointing Problem INDIA need to address , not as Blame Game.

So what do you suggest?

Madrasas can be open up to include basic National standard for Learning.

They belong to INDIA. Where else?

If they LIVE in SECLUDED AREAS,
Problem PERSIST,thats bridding Ground
for all sorts of fobias,groupmentality,
us vs them.

There are Lots of PUNJABI in KASHMIR
Kashmiris may opening up, they don't have choice, considering Pakistan falling appart into Chaos/fragmentation, Shia Vs Sunny, Military Vs General Population. No one talking about part of KASHMIR under china.

You have not offered real solution the one you suggested is not feasible. Need sustained longterm
effort to integrate ,need to zoom on real cause by both community and work on those causes-Appeasement won't sove anything, it is counter productive, deviding factor rather than integrating factor.
